  8. Cant have too much of a good thing. If it gives you peace of mind then use them. I had one on a LOLER, looked like it had never been used in anger, and it was definitely not for me. Yes like most i have looked down to see a tripple action gate open but it is quite rare and a well oraganised system can help prevent an accident. Stay safe... dont drink too much this christmas :thumbup:

  10. i would agree with this. My log splittler broke so borrowed a friends mf 35. Took me an hour to drive a journey that usually takes 20 mins. Not much hydraulic power but it does the job, brakes arent too hot either. Have driven a county a timber trailer on the road got it in to second and shat me pants, as there was so much play in the steering, and had to crawl back home in 1st gear!!

  14. I always had hair till the tongue filled with saw dust prematurely killing them off after a very short service life. Went over to the airstreams- not as good as all the hype but mine are well into there second year so good value for money.   16. Bat surveys, doesn't just have to be bats present to delay felling. If there is habitat a bat could use, as they move about a bit, then you may have to create new habitat boxes etc Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Nice vid have done a bit of felling, always on the steep sites round me bar one site that was big oaks (I enjoyed that). I am often up at five to leave at 6.30.   24. did replace the hoses as well latterly. Did have quite a few people thinking it was a new machine (joe public mind)
