  1. Great if you can afford a new motor means another saving for the rich. While the less well off carry on mot'ing every year they're old cars Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Farmer near me burns mostly miscanthus. He did his research as it needed burning at a certain temperature I think to avoid flue trouble. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. The oregon bars usually come up a bit cheaper than the oe equivalent. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. Running back to cheap eating. Meat is usually the most expensive part of the meal. Just a reminder that you don't have to have meat every day- i know it's hard to get your head round. Growing your own would also keep it cheap- especially meat. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app

    Bar oils

Using the Clark forest super tack and that is fab. Used oregon in the past with no problems. Only changed because I wanted a bio oil and the oregon came up to expensive locally Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. If you can, watch a documentary called food Inc. Interesting stuff. I believe believe the government could be doing more to help reduce the use of petrol by perhaps improving public transport instead of just coining in on the revenue. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. I have not read all the dribble thus far. I have seen a few documentaries regarding mosanto in America, evil evil company. Plenty of other companies punting the same product under different names which do the same job. I would be up for a ban. If we have to pay more for food then so be it, we have to look at alternatives. While these products are in use there is no push to develop. Anyway surely the organic growers are getting by without the aforementioned product. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. It is fairly common practice I would say for climbers to rig with out a ticket only seems to be people who are going for AA assessment that are pushed to get it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Yep I know the op is looking for alternatives but I have been abusing one of the newer stihl 410 and it is faultless. Would not hesitate to buy another. Got some older fs400, obviously the older tuneable models, that have over 10 years of beasting and still going. Put it this way I mainly use the mulching blade and will quite often smash my may through 2-3 inch Thorn and other scrub with it- not great for the machine Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. I want I want! Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. I used to hchange my fourtrak oil every 5k miles. I think that was reccomened and probably is the reason those engines went on Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. So you are just leaving two bare stems, nothing at the top? Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. My friend has a 2013 ranger 2.2 limited, real nice truck all the bells and whistles. His wife filled it up with diesel and then it wouldn't start. Another friend just happened to be there and suspected a naff battery as it was turning over real slow. Tried jump leads- no good. In the end it was left up to the AA to sort. After contacting him later in the evening to see if it had been sorted he told me it had seized- a common problem with the engine apparently. I think it is on 70k and that is mostly motorway miles. New engine been quoted 8-9k for a replacement so that would be the truck written off! Anyone else heard of this?? It has had an easy life no towing just had a kayak on the roof from time to time. 14. Have emailed you. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. I was second that it is comfortable and tough just a shame some of them don't stack up on the waterproofness front Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. I have a cut and drown jacket. Has always leaked around the shoulders- waste of money imo. I know some others have had good experiences. Going back to the horrendous desert camo jacket. I don't think it looks in the least bit professional but by God does e keep you dry!!!!! Hood big enough to go over helmet as well. If only I could get one in a more desirable colour and a slightly more tailored fit Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. I can see another 2 stroke oil thread striking up. FYI I use the green. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. You agreeing with the article? Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Wow Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. When i first started I thought I would do the climber a favour and retrieve his rope guide. Put my retrieval ball on and pulled the rope through. Only It didn't pull through because i used a standard sized ball which doesn't fir the art rope guide!! So stuck fast!!! Went up as far as I could with the mewp and had a knee chattering climb up to the anchor point to retrieve. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Where's it too Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. I have only had my rope guide stuck once in four years, typically it was while I was retrieving it and mentioning how it never gets stuck!! Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Well they all do the same job, albeit some better than others. As long as it doesn't handle like polyprop then I ho I ho it's off to work we go Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. I used to use a ring to ring cambium saver. I couldn't believe the difference between that and the art rope guide. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Sounds like it's too late if your being issued it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
