  1. As said here before sometimes it is just the track and you can not get up regardless of tyres. I really think that the narrower tyres do find the grip underneath in some situations. Nothing stopping you going narrower on the tyre or even getting a set of steel rims to accommodate. Good luck
  2. As I am rural I nearly always have failed delivery on Fridays. Sometimes they might ring with an excuse other times the parcel just does not arrive. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. supply and demand
  4. I have noticed loads of roadside ash trees with varying stages of crown die back. inner part of crown generally looking okay but tips will have satlks where keys once were and the stem will be a slighlty darker shade of brown then the healthy bits. Not noticed any legions. If its die back then we got **** loads here in west somerset, lots of smaller trees and some larger showing similar signs.
  5. Hope you can get by with out to much hassle in the short term. These people are pros and have all day to create a good scams and flash websites. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Was thinking about this poor soul the other day and was wondering how he is getting on, trying to keep the bailiffs at bay no doubt!
  7. i would agree. I am happy to wear others branded t shirts as long as they are the right size and clean. Hate it when i get given a boob tube thats two sizes too small and soiled
  8. i'll give you my opinion in a 20min long video. i will post up the link!!
  9. the three lights would imply the that the anti-stress has got power, is receiving signal from the sensor and also sending power to the solenoid. Going on the electrical theme, i would check the solenoid is getting power from the control board. I think afer that you would need to be checking hyd oil pressure but sounds like the solenoid to me.
  10. I would put a direct feed onto the solenoid to check if it is the antistress that is playing up. Another thing to check would (depending on the age of the machine) is the antistress control board. At full revs their should be three little leds lit up, two green and one orange. A problem i had, rollers kept stopping. So i would reset the antistress then it would happen again. Basically it was crud in the fuel tank and it was blocking the filters and slowly the revs would drop till the the antistress would kick in. Eventually worked it out and got a good amount of sludge out of the tank. Probably not the best idea having the diesel feed at the bottom of the tank as if will drag through any sediment.
  11. Well thats that myth blown out of the water! Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app

  14. So I can get some God damn purchase. I am happy to loose an inch, got plenty of length, if it means the dawgs are going to bite in and give me something to pivot on. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Good for athletes foot and an easier area to aim. I would often take a slash on me hands when freezing cold hands whilst out kayaking. Really warms the hands- probably wouldn't recommend that when up a tree or out on site. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. I had a 2004 bg55 and chopped it in for a bg86. It felt like the older one was better but was told that may be down to the different nozzle end I am using. But does the job fine- no backpack blower but then it is loads easier to transport and store. Think I paid 130 for the new one trading in the old one. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Please accept my apologies stubby. Was watching one American vid who described them as baby howlers Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Ha ha. When I got the aforementioned rope burn my wife poured water on it straight away, she was working with me on site, and that stung. Now imagining her having a pee, not sure it would be just my arm that would have been showered Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Recently bought a stihl 461 to replace a 441, glad I did spec up as it is a stonker. But one thing that has really chapped my ass is the tiny dog teeth on it. Why would you supply a saw with dog teeth that God damn small. I have only used the saw a couple of times ringing up some timber and the exhaust is already dented in! Extra strain on the operator need I go on?! But good saw, will be even better once I get a decent pair of larger dogs. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app

  23. Well you can't win them all but, easy in hindsight, you could have taken pictures and had them in the quotation. But as I say easy in hindsight and not saying I may not have ended up in the same situation. Hopefully you find away to keep all parties happy. Good luck Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. I think this probably shows some weakness in the quotation stage of this operation. I have, and I am sure many have, been caught out like this. You quote for one thing and then after wards the customer comes out and cracks on how they thought your were doing something different. It is really important to list every detail in the quote including pictures and diagrams so that you are sure every one is on the same page. If they accept the quote then you have something to fall back on. Sorry I know this does not help your situation now bit hopefully in the future. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Can you still get the cinch? I thought that was not made anymore Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
