  1. I am finding most days wordle is taxing, I blame it on the kids! Wordle 1,655 4/6 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟨🟩 🟨⬜⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  2. I did put a new for a new filter on but that didn't speed anything up. It could all be sorted for sure but there is lots of things that need doing now, would be part way to a restoration. It came with a complimentary can of easy start. A new heater element helped, recently battery died so put a larger one on, I can it to start after heater 20secs usually second attempt.
  3. I was farming children but it hasn't been that profitable so have packed in the breeding program. Generally I chuck overalls on if I know I am doing some mechanicky type stuff but you can't always plan your breakdowns. Track off the chipper twice the week before Christmas, one time I had just tracked through a t-rex size dog egg! 🀒. Got a bit mucky then, grease not dog shit, nearly new sip keiu jacket on. On the farm the cow and sheep crap can stain your clothes easily but if it was a dedicated farm waterproof then I probably wouldn't be fussed and about the state of it.
  4. Mix of flexothene and then Swazi/kaiwaka/betacraft. I'm still out feeding up in my 15year old cut and climb, no hay sticks to that, so porous that hat goes through it along with the rain!
  5. I need to replace my lines. Had tachyon for a while, bit stretchy for srt, once your weight is in it it's good, find it's great for drt. Not sure how one would cope on a windy day the stretch is handy then. Did replace my short line with some drenaline but I find that hard to hold onto, but is improving as it fluffs up. Not sure what to get next.
  6. Wordle 1,654 4/6 β¬›β¬›πŸŸ¨πŸŸ¨β¬› β¬›πŸŸ¨πŸŸ¨πŸŸ©β¬› β¬›πŸŸ©β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ© 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  7. Well it's still here that's for sure. If I spent some money on it it would could be alright. Mind you the thing that slows me down is the hydraulics, man are they slow. Your mucking out and your having to wait for the loader to get up to height or open the grab, that can get a bit tiresome on a 5 hour stint! Saw a mates 90's John deer, 70/80hp sort of thing, looked at the price of them, bloody hell! Mcormic or case might be more in my price range.
  8. My wife asked for a ridgeline coat so I got one that was more traditional style of waterproof material as I was concerned about the hay, she wasn't happy and wanted the popular smock. Well someone I know walks around like a bale
  9. Yes it is warm, and fpr farm work hay sticks to it. You end up looking like a walking hay bale! Can't understand why they are so popular, round here it is the most common jacket worn by kids and adults.
  10. Frustrating when so many words that could fit that one.
  11. Wordle 1,653 5/6 β¬›πŸŸ¨β¬›πŸŸ¨β¬› β¬›πŸŸ¨πŸŸ¨β¬›β¬› πŸŸ¨πŸŸ¨β¬›πŸŸ¨β¬› πŸŸ©β¬›β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ© 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  12. Got a duathlon today, wife is doing the running and me the cycling, off road like. 2hrs to get there and got to drop the kids off on route, and do the farm prior to that and load all my crap in the car, better get cracking...
  13. 'nice' and 'bx' probably shouldn't be used in the same sentence although I wouldn't pass one up if offered.
  14. As far as I am aware a car produces the most emissions in its manufacturer. So driving it for as many years as possible instead of buying new every five years or so would be best. Getting an old diesel motor and running it kn used oil would probably be even better, nice old Citroen bx or something.
  15. I have got the wakiest David brown 1490 had it since 2020. Farming for 2 years with out a loader tractor relying on contractors to do all jobs. In the winter splitting bales down and moving all by hand. When I drove it home after buying it it nearly set on fire due to some electrical bodgery but got it home. It was clapped out before I got it and it certainly hasn't improved, well it starts and runs, had to get pump and injectors reconditioned. Turbo obviously broke at some point and so has been blanked off. Leaks hydraulic oil, clutch and brake fluid. Only got one brake at the moment and the loader needs re-bushing amongst a million other jobs. Doesn't use any engine oil mind. I think what a piece of crap it is then other times I think back to when I could only dream of owning such a weapon! Lifting things like chipper hopper on and off etc. I am aiming to replace it or certainly get some thing a bit more user friendly as my wife doesn't much like driving it and being 2wd it isn't the best.
  16. It's a no from me 😒 Wordle 1,652 X/6 β¬›πŸŸ©β¬›πŸŸ¨πŸŸ© β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ© β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ© β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ© β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ© β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ©
  17. Morning, awoke at 4… dishwasher emptied, washing machine on, dryer on, load of washing folded, fire stocked back up, cup of tea. Might get some logs done today after farm work.
  18. Well they didn't get it right with the 150, half the chipper has to come apart to get the flywheel out and then the piddy bearings off!
  19. Wordle 1,651 5/6 πŸŸ¨β¬›β¬›β¬›β¬› πŸŸ©β¬›β¬›β¬›β¬› πŸŸ©πŸŸ©β¬›β¬›β¬› πŸŸ©πŸŸ©β¬›β¬›β¬› 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  20. Ridgeline soaks up the water in the outer material like a sponge. Have a had a Hoggs smock which was fairly decent but couldn't go all day.
  21. Well first try of my initial foray into cider making. Not as dry as I thought it was going to be, maybe dry/medium, very drinkable.
  22. Wordle 1,650 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  23. Wordle 1,649 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  24. Morning sir, sorry I'm late, got carried away on the Christmas MTB ride. Got in at 1am πŸ₯΄ now to do the farm work.
  25. Certainly is a sweet spot of a tree that a customer seems to be massive but you know it is an easy. Getting into those bigger trees I fancy are less profit and more hassle. Easy trees easy money, and plenty of energy left for lifting pints in the boozer, or in my case to do battle with children when I get home.
