  2. yes def change any pipes with holes splits or that have gone brittle or harder
  3. not had a 201 to bits but might be 1145 141 8600 its thew hose that runs from the cylinder to your carb that isnt the big fat carb boot, but the sometimes connect to carb boot.
  4. i've been well into my jotuls (prob a 602 would do you) as they are very efficient and been same or similar design since 1930s. recently got a stovax brunel 2cb which seems to really kick it out. what i miss though is that the 602, 380, and 112 jotul take good long logs as they are orientated the other way. let us know what you get
  5. its pretty soft like you can draw on it with your thumb nail. pretty hard to carve with chisels etc as so soft, but we milled it for cladding, and some giant seats and its certainly stable and has lasted well
  6. if your lucky the fuel hose inside fuel take has got stuck somewhere high in tank. but guess you have tried fill saw to brim? strip and clean carb?

  10. i have 2 very nearly new stihl 1/4 sprocket (11236402073) for a 181 if you want one for slightly cheaper than new? pm me. also have a 8inch cannon bar if its any good to you? its quarter tip not dime though so you would need the sprocket. ccq-c1-8-50. vgc barely used. sprockets £20 inc postage bar £40 inc postage sorry for shameless sale. just reminded me i had stuff knocking about in back of workshop!
  11. milling tother day with 084 and 076, had a pretty wierd thing happen where if i let go of the 076 throttle and the 084 was still going the 076 continued to rev, at what i suspect was above max rpm. i may be imagining it but all i can think of was that the 084 was driving the 076 piston which was sucking fuel and holding the butterfly open. just wondering if anyone has had this. or can shed some light on this? from memory the 084 rpm is 12.5k and the 076 is 10.5k
  12. Have used one but have a 357. Not a touch on a 440 up a tree. Reckon you wouldn't miss the 261 if you had a 560 much though. Might be worth checking what generation carb it is etc as some known issues? Sure someone knows more on this Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Suspect your better off buying a spares or repair oem saw and Fixing it up. Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Was thinking that but just got a 440. Nearly same weight but good bit punchier Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app

  16. Yup ms361 .325 on a 9 pin. or ms440 3/8 8 pin Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Reckon it's all personal preference. I get on the handle chisels asap. Much prefer it to chainsawing and often feel I've been wasting time trying to do too much with powertools or saws when it's quicker more pleasant and nicer to use hand tools Flexcut box sets are the shizzle Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. That seems astonishingly cheap. Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. I'd say if your cutting all day a 346 is light and plenty pokey. All depends what your used to though I knocked about the woods for years with a ms361 and thought nothing of it, now I'll stick to a backhandle 200 for as long as i can. Ported 346 if say Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Also check gasket and diagrams are back in correct order. See parts diagrams. Did you remove the l and h screws? If so wind them gently all the way in then out 1 turn for general settings. Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/threads/stihl-ms192t-cylinder-differences.17932/ Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. No idea. But if you look through the parts diagrams you should be able to match the inlet manifold with your one then read the part number off. Assuming you have taken yours off already? Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Just been waiting for 2 weeks for echo parts from abbey Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. Can't see them on his website and every time I search then open the link in arbtalk app it seems to just land on home page. And search function on the app always seems to return either millions of results or nothing. Link? Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Can anyone point me to exactly a winch that will fit Alaskan? Don't want to buy one that I have to change or somehow doesn't work. Thanks Sent from my SM-G390F using Arbtalk mobile app
