I get what you mean. If you were lifting a weight with a metal eye with the sling doubled going through the eye, I understand that the sling is doubled and each length is under less stress but at the point that it folds around the eye must be under most strain. Yes it's excellent. Works a treat. Also I can't get my head around the arbtalk search function. I searched for "singing rock harness" in speech marks and it doesn't find the thread but Google finds it immediately. It may well come up now as I ha e just posted on it!
