  1. Made a giant howling wolf sculpture then burnt it in village square for allen valleys folk festival. Made with a couple of pals over 2 days. Jaw was articulated and controlled by a bit wire rope. Had some flue up throat with some fuely hay in for a fire breathing effect. Was a good day yesterday! Lots of Morris Dancing while we built it and a class band called pons aelius played a romping set as it burned.
  2. Yeah all the time. So quick and easy and saves climbing to rigging points as well as you can just lob the rope to whatever crotch you want to use. Very handy on reductions where you're moving around and in and out of branches a lot also.
  3. Exciting stuff. Will keep a keen eye on this
  4. Was it a decent cylinder and piston fitted? My money is on a crappy cylinder and piston which looses compression when warm or hot
  5. Did you change the chain at same time? Either the bar and chain combo is wrong with your sprocket or the bar is
  6. Obv c. For climbing with. Spikes tent to chafe slightly though
  7. Shorts We call them.
  8. Chainsaw trousers, t shirt, hoodie on/off, whatever waterproof I am currently trashing on/off
  9. That is an excellent jig! Don't think the laser cut things will suit me as it's often outdoor, maybe I need a brand or something, just no idea where to get something like that
  10. Great to see your work. How do you turn perfect balls? Also were did you get the stamp made? Something i have been thinking about for all the benches and sculptures I make. Ta
  11. L and s engineers are half price of other stihl dealers on some stuff and get you stiff next day and tell you if out of stock
  12. No vid visable on android app
  13. I'll ask him for some
  14. Gis a shout on a decade when it's worn out then
  15. Pal of mine is selling a 7901. Literally done a few hours work gis a shout if your keen.
  16. I guess because it'she same as the top handle versions ( both ms200 and 201) which are very light and powerful ( for their cc) saws and pretty durable ( sort from 201) You are right though it's disproportionate to their cc/power. Expect the ms241 is worth a look in
  17. Yep that's what I'm selling a rear handle ms200. Dolmar parts some from shavey on here and he is a diamond. Might take a week or so if needs ordering. Also interchangeable with Makita bits
  18. Got a 285cd on the bench today. What a POS. carb was full of muck so and fuel line was split. Replaced and did new carb kit whilst at it. Still won't run right. Think tank breathe is goosed as tank seems to pressurize itself and fire fuel out the fuel line. Also seems to have a mind of its own and just runs on like a lunatic. Sometimes it's floods and won't start for 30 mins. Driving me mad, as per usual.
  19. I have a decent ms200 backhandle for sale at the minute. Some pics on gumtree. Could do it for 230 with no bar and chain. It's had a carb kit and av rubber just now. Really sorry to hear you getting done over. Only selling as I have a ms201 and dolly 3410. If you want new and super light id look at the echo 360wes. Only used the top handle version which is excellent and on par with a 200. Hope you get back to work soon pal

  21. I don't use that term to try and put you down. I am not opposed to discussion on immigration etc. Can't be arsed with the level of repetition of your "intellectual " posts on how all third world countries have nothing to offer/ white supremacist nonsense. It's not a discussion with you, it's tedious keyboard warrior xenophobic pish. I look forward to you repetive reply. Which will either 1. Tell me I am wrong 2. Tell me everyone can see i look a fool and everyone is turning to far right 3. Tell me everyone can see britain is better off with no immigrants. 4. Doesn't atempt to answer any previous questions.
  22. I think the mods have sensibly pressed the ignore button o this thread. I like to think there was a time when blatant racism would get you banned too.
  23. Wtf? You've been to the whole of the third world, I'm impressed you managed to make it everywhere and and have formed a really well rounded opinion. What an informed opinion you have. Do you not see the irony in what you just said? We are more than an island. I've been to a small part of what you call the third world. I had a great time. I was welcomed by people I had never met Into their homes to share food and stay the night. People who were not rich and would not have got a visa to even visit the UK. I am amazed you had such a poor time surveying corruption on your quest to meet the other inhabitants of our planet. Why do you hate foreign culture so much? What has happened to you?
  24. Nice one. Can't trust my boys with sharps, my chair got a haircut a while back and I caught them throwing butter knives around the other day
  25. What's he holding? Can't quite make it out?
