Agreed; first fell not stunt. Other two some pretty close houses and trucks close by etc sure counts as a stunt? Generally agree with Mr Blair, true stunt fell is where you ha e quoted for dismantle then just whop it down. But if you do a huge back leaner cut with what sounds like a ms170 with 30" bar with a polyprop tug line and old boy with trad helmet on popping the odd wedge in with a house that's a stunt in my book. http://

Yep cheap enough. You'd prob make 200 from the 020 and 136 easy. Is the 076 36inch bar a duro or sprocket tip?

Aye you order, wait a week, ring then, get half the order, half of which is wrong, email no reply, ring no answer. Really pleased I saved a few quid on some chai n that don't fit. Saying that I've been through a few on the top handles and after their first sharpen you would know the difference

Update; harness going well.much comfier having fiddled adjusting thigh straps. Will report back when it's knackered.

Next was exhaust mod on a ms150. Couldn't the exhaust I had was different from ones described as last bit was spot welded on and not removable. So boshed a hole in side. Checked with tac and could lean out enough so whipped carb off, drill limiter pin refitted and saw ran like a bag pi55......after a good while of checking everything, varying carb screws etc etc took carb to bits and tha fully found a mass of silty black schizer in carb mesh filter. Back together and runs good now. Tac goes mad as you approach the limiter- occasionally blipping to 17000rpm! But got it tuned nice now. Went to fit new chain from northern arb. And low and behold it's the wrong size. Ffs has taken since 6th Sept to get it to me and now it's here appears to not be narrow kerf or something. 660 was revving it's tits off on a dismantle yesterday. Checked it today at was Making 15k! Examined fuel lines and carb boot. All seemed well. Did a vac and pressure test, all good. Tiny bit of something rubbery in carb which must have been leaning it right out on full revs. Saw was running nice other than that. 950 is relatively high for second hand but also expect he will get it. I have an 084 and a 880. Some parts are compatible but there are definitely parts which aren't like cylinders air filter shrouds etc. Common parts like piston clutch needle bearing etc are compatible. For reference I found an 880 for £650 with a 36 and 25 inch bar. Personally if you can I so I get an 880. But if you find a cheap 084 or 076 there are plenty parts out there for them and they will get the job done. On a budget I think Rob d on here (chainsawbars.co.uk) sells budget mills . How wide do you need to mill? 36" should do those things. If you go 084 I have a couple of cylinders available. Also was thinking of selling 076 if your interested?
