  1. I've a 2000w husky 320 electric saw, it came with an 18" bar which is misleading to saw the least. An ms170 is significantly more powerful than it. Not really impressed and only use it in workshop if I really can't be arsed to start a petrol saw. Saying that you could theoretically cut firewood with it if you keep it stinging sharp and have the patience of a saint. Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. In fairness he does at least have a pro saw. Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app

  4. Got anywhere with that?had mine a while and did two cherry dismantles back to back with the old 200, having only used the 360 for months. Found the 200 a bit stronger and would also keen to see what can be done to the 360. Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app

  11. Yes, and that's why reg didn't use a climbing line and just had a emergency line in bag. Fine if that's what he wants to do, personally if I needed a emergency line out the tree I wouldn't fancy having to get it out a backpack and set it up, but hey Ho. Also agree with post about it not being ideal to encourage lone working for people who lookup to reg that perhaps don't have the necessary experience/common sense/ awareness of what could go wrong. Lol arbechochamber! Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app

  13. Is that like the metering needle arm? How much to bend it? With that spark plug colour does it need richening? Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app

  15. If you intend to return it via eBay/PayPal rules do not do any work or even mention you have changed plug etc. I bought a saw that was supposed to be a good runner and which didn't even spark, I lost eBay dispute as they said I had taken it to bits to see if it sparked. Annoying How old is the fuel you are using?is it ok in other saws? Sure you'll get it sorted, prob worth getting someone to have a look at it as could be something obvious that we/you are missing Or just buy mocks 076 and send it back Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. That's quite a long tidy up. Must have been pretty awkward. But yeah, obviously lots of jobs totally unsuited to lone working. Both for practically/safety (any rigging or where there would be a hideous mess)and also cos they can be hellish boring By yourself. I often do bits and bobs by myself in middle of nowhere, going around field edges removing lower limbs, felling etc and really enjoy the simplicity of working alone, but not usually a huge tidy up and usually I'll ask the farmer to be aware that I'm working alone and to be aware of this. If people really experienced, working for themselves and aware of risks, I see no problem with people working solo. However for me alot of the jobs I get would be horrible without a groundsman mostly on account of the tidy up Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Was that a bore cut or has the back cut nearly been finished? Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app

  19. Thanks, wasn't sure If that was the big or little one.
  20. How cheap was it? Where from? Have you fiddled with carb settings or anything else? Don't fret, it will work eventually!
  21. Try leaving it with plug out till all nice and dry, then try again with no throttle lock.
  22. ....and what sort of chain catcher should it have? L shaped one or straight across type? Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Also I got some issue with my dawgs. Only one type listed on parts diagram but I got 1 huge and 1 normal size?this is unacceptable (saw came like this) so anyone know which part no the big one is? Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. This filter fit for the bin? Looks like there may have been some felt on this at some point? Or its very clogged and I blew it off with airline? Anyone know? Is it just supposed to be mesh or mesh and finer stuff? Thanks Sent from my C6603 using Arbtalk mobile app
