  1. Haven't tried, but I have a suspicion of how good they will be.....
  2. Just heard from a landy obsessed pal that the crew cab landy 130 chassis it too long to handle a tipper?
  3. I heard the 130 crew cab tipper chassis bend? Also talking to a legendary hilux exporter today told me he had has over 40 navaras with bend or snapped chassissss'ss Not very encouraging. Really appreciate hearing from people experience. Ta
  4. And total 4 or 5? Cheers
  5. Navaras d22 no good? L200s ? Hear very mixed things, some folk suggesting totally fine others saying they are a curse..... Definitely plenty more extra cab d22 and l200s about...
  6. Already got one but some days I got the kids and partner away working In the car.......usually fine but have used all the seats in the syncro van often and that's why I swapped to this from a hilux single cab......im just going round in circles!
  7. Def need a 4x4, reckon it gets used weekly, trying not to run 2 vehicles as it's a grand a year each just to insure and tax and mot etc..... Basically nothing's perfect is it. Maybe I'm best getting a single cab 4x4 tipper and kids can just squeeze in the foot well
  8. Looks good also, is the back extended beyond the original tub or the same? Ta
  9. I just wish they were making them 20 years ago so you could get a non CR engine and no computer (and maybe affordable) version. For 46k id probs just get 3 or 4 decent work vehicles
  10. That looks ace, just the ticket. Did you get the back made up yourself? Are the back seats sideways or forwards?
  11. Looking at something I can fit family in( ideally 5 seats but meybs a extra cab would do). this is why I sold me mk4 hilux Would like to hear from anyone with a extra cab or double cab pickup how irritating the small load space is and has anyone bothered with a tipper. I suspect waste of time as load space in a single cab small enough anyways but happy to hear otherwise. Cheers
  12. Straight swap. You may want a new gasket in case your old one breaks. Worth finding the cause of the seizure. Some good in-depth vids on YouTube. Donnyboy is pretty good. Make sure piston is correct way and be careful with piston rings when placing cylinder over. Meteor are decent non original parts.
  13. ? You'll have to order 2 with northern if you want free delivery then wait for a fortnight. If you buy to with l and s it's 9.80 a chain or something of stihl ones. Or was last time I ordered. There is usually some other bits I need so the few quid postage isn't an issue.
  14. The ms150 chain northern arb do is 2 quid cheaper than the stihl ones from l and s engineers.
  15. That a stihl piston?
  16. L and s engineers do them bars and tiny stihl chains well cheap
  17. Just near Allendale mark, up the hill from ninebanks....about 14 houses on this road and no ploughs all week! Pretty unusual they are normally slightly over efficient with the ploughs!
  18. Looks like you had some fun there matty!
  19. That's my house in the trees just down the "road" drift is an easy 12ft at top of hill. No sign of any ploughs for 4 days now
  20. Noo Mark. I remember that but hasn't but 2 and 2 together. Hope you get snowed in!
  21. Send it to spud?
  22. Make sure you post some pics
  23. Ace vid btw!
  24. Climate looks acceptable
