  1. Prolly the oil pump behind clutch needs removing cleaning with a compressor and replacing. If still no good replace this
  2. If you must buy new Get a makita dcs4301 hard to beat for the money. Pretty light and sturdy. Personally id sell all your saws apart from the 254 and send that to spud for deep service and youll have a belter of a saw on your hands.
  3. What do you mean fixing rope at bottom and jugging up. Obvs there is friction or rope over branch but also gives you a 2 to 1 pulling yersel upsie
  4. Yeah sods law. The wall near tree down from the one in the pic had a huge bulge and my neighbour encouraged me to batter it as he had to take it down anyway. Quite wierd deliberately hitting a drystone wall.
  5. Not quite sure i follow why you would do that? Maybe im being thick. Would have to be quite a bungee to over come the force of a falling stem, so much so it would have to be pulling it real hard at the wrong angle to the fell?
  6. How much is a month jonathan and what do you get?
  7. Nice sunny day. Couple syc dismantles for a neighbour. Done by lunch time. No rigging, dry stone wall is getting rebuilt anyways so wasnt bothered if i smashed it. Left a mess for them to tidy - loving those tidy up free jobs!
  8. Pic from today. Bog standard hinge, was just the main stem as not enough room to drop whole tree at 90° to wall
  9. If no bales available. Pull a good load of staples out. Avoid the posts and itll go back up ok if you do catch it by mistake. At a glance they should pop over the fence though
  10. Celi, you will get there! Well done for bothering to fix it yersel. Good chance its just a little something not quite right
  11. Bit hard to tell on that diagram but could be the pipe going to part 503 86 64-01. Sometime they just connect in through the carb boot though.
  12. Image: Husqvarna 346 XP (2007-02) Chainsaw CARBURETOR Spare Parts Diagram IMAGES.APP.GOO.GL Found on Google from ransomspares.co.uk Metering arm should be in with the spring and the top of arm level with top of carb. Id double check all diaphrams and gaskets are in good order and correctly installed
  13. Any sign of a pickup version? Just out of interest
  14. What was the position of the h and l screw? Have you definitely put all the gaskets and diaphragms back in the correct order? Is the metering arm set correctly? Is the impulse line ok/clear/leaking air? Is the primer priming?
  15. The hd springs make a difference and i managed take a leaf out of my old ones and squeeze it it when i fitted my new hd ones. Much better now
  16. Never in the history of connie bashing has mrs miggins not wanted "just a wee bit more off the tops", usually waiting for you to have just packed your kit away
  17. Set Of Spur Sprocket 1/4'' 8T for Stihl 020T, 020 Chainsaws - 1129 640 2051 | Stihl MS200 / MS200T Chainsaw Parts WWW.LSENGINEERS.CO.UK Set of spur sprocket/worm 1/4'' 8TGenuine Stihl PartOEM Part No. 1129 640 2051Suitable for the following Stihl Machines:020 T, 020, MS 200 T, MS 200
  18. Yes its possible. Someone on here did it a while back and rated it. Personally i wouldnt, i think itll eat the little bars quite fast, and be annoying to sharpen. But will give a nice fast smooth cut. You'll need a 1/4 plastic worm drive as well for the oiler If you go for it, report back!
  19. I'd be interested to know what the rest of europe do about this if its an eu directive that has pushed toward 2 rope?
  20. Also, in terms of law i believe any land or property owner is technically a tennant of the crown. Annoying
  21. Please elaborate on Cannobase anchor for higher TIPs
  22. Id get the 355. Got proper chain tensioner not plastic one
