  1. Having made hundreds of cold calls both in person or over the phone, I have also found the encounters in person or over the phone both productive and interesting. Occasionally funny. For my own business and home phone number caller ID rules the day. If someone really wants to get in touch with me that is not a problem. If you persist with your pitch to try and sell me something I remind the caller about the 3 strikes or pitch rule and your out:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  2. Creative, natural, in a clinch can be used as fire wood for camp outs! easy-lift guy
  3. :lol::lol: easy-lift guy
  4. Your right or a small cardboard box with the lid open:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  5. The policy you speak of does not exist here Stateside. Not sure how long this policy will last for you guys. I really do not believe this policy could have any legs here. easy-lift guy
  6. Even if I could see the pictures, I agree with WeeDee. Good call. easy-lift guy
  7. There not called Canucks for nothing!, musical score sounded perfect. easy-lift guy
  8. Perhaps the waist and shoulder straps are not adjusted correctly?. All tools and equipment can and will have there own limitation. Depends on many factors and how one uses in the first place. easy-lift guy
  9. I would make sure that the engine runs. How any miles on the engine?, is there any service record from the previous owner?. Check the transmission fluid for color and smell. If the color is dark and smell is burnt fluid that is not a good combo. Without dropping the drain pan for either engine oil or transmission fluid you might want to have that checked for wear. My friend recovers "swimmers" from on line auctions and rebuilds them to use and sell. Good hunting. easy-lift guy
  10. No wonder the birds weren't going near them. easy-lift guy
  11. Looked like cherries to me, nearly identical to the same one I was sampling on my last visit. easy-lift guy
  12. I believe your idea has merrit. I also feel that the price estimate first posted will be to low to cover your cost. I believe doubling that cost will be closer to the mark, however well worth the investment for such a reference guide. Continue to stay focused and be prepared for this project to absorb a fair amount of time. All the best. easy-lift guy
  13. LOL, That was a good one! easy-lift guy
  14. Talking about a little off the top!. Very impressive! easy-lift guy
  15. Reads about right on either side of the pond. easy-lift guy
  16. It has been a while, no particular order, Moody Blues Four times, Beach Boys, Men at Work, Rod Stewart, The Go Go's, great stage and music show!, Grass Roots, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, The Hollies, The Monkeys, James Taylor. All good shows. easy-lift guy
  17. Capital idea. easy-lift guy
  18. Looking at the picture, I could not realistically see that ATV hauling more than 500 lbs max. Save your £'s and get a real truck to haul your logs with. easy-lift guy
  19. Welcome philip2011, from the Sunshine State. easy-lift guy
  20. I believe the quality of your work and overall demeanor will carry the day. Remain professional, since no one can pimp you or your work better! easy-lift guy
  21. I can save some mystery about this post. Kirk1701 is the name of the OP. His story is about using a ladder to trim a long walnut branch next to a shed with limited drop zone and even less experience when it comes to tree work. The branch in question came down and crushed his fiber glass ladder and left him brushed and sore. I believe an ELH could of worked for this application on the right persons back and if same person knew anything about trimming. Sadly in both cases this person is and will always be out of his league. easy-lift guy
  22. Nice time laps. Looks like the weather was on your side. Was the timber of any value in the end other than fire wood? Thanks easy-lift guy
  23. Vintage bikes rule. easy-lift guy
  24. If you can afford it a 3rd 4th or even 5th opinion may help you to finally make up your mind. An informed consumer like anything else usually makes the best patient. Of course results can and will vary. Take care of your self and I do wish you a successful out come and speedy recovery. easy-lift guy
  25. Johnny Walker is actually a distiller, only does firewood as a hobby. His last name is Red. easy-lift guy
