  1. Rebuilding an ms200t, looking to replace crankcase gasket/ bearings and seals while I have it down this far. It hasn't been leakdown tested but it is old so I just wanted everything to be fresh and 100%. Anyway, the crankcase is a bollock to split and with out any tools I am stumped as to split it with out damaging it. Anyone kindly share any techniques they have?

  5. Now I see what I'm looking at! Very interesting! Thanks Treemover
  6. If I want to start and use a chainsaw.....then I'm going to start and use a chainsaw
  7. I often find myself saying "cross the bridge when you come to it", there's no point in worrying or stressing about things such as money, work, relationships etc it does nowt for you. Either that or I'm too relaxed
  8. One thing that happened to my Husky was the threaded bar fell back into the oil tank and came out everywhere. Have a look to see if you can pull the threaded bar with some pliars away from the saw. It could be pushed in a little bit?

    Soaked!

I had one fall into a willow bog while it was still running, completely submerged, sucked in all kinds of water took spark plug and air filter off, emptied it and she started up again after a lot of pulls.
  11. I have the Bg56 and its a dead onwee blower but mainly for dry weather/not on the grass. If any handheld was to be got, would go with the 86 its plenty of power for its size. Though no one can deny that the backpack is a hell of a lot faster and powerful especially on car parks/ grass. No need for a rake
  12. The wee grass ledge could be big enough to let in wash down? Out of curiosity can "windburn" occur during winter? Scratch that foud this site http://www.gardenplansireland.com/forum/about416.html
  13. Could someone explain what I'm looking at in the graph
  14. Ouch that looks cream krackered. But if the rings don't lower down that far it could possibly be ok?
  15. I'll go first depending on the size of the cavity and weight of the limbs that extend from the bark inclusion a moderate crown reduction would be in order? Maybe moving to a pollard if they really want to keep.
  16. Oh I know what Scraggs was getting at I was a frequent mIRC user in my teens but I fail to see a great benefit in creating one.
  17. Why fix what's not broken? There's already a chatroom.
  18. Anymore interesting threads in the pipeline??
  19. I agree with cut and chuck. The scaffold branches seem thick enough to climb and everything else thin enough to handle with silky.
  20. Good to see you back again Tony
  21. I see where you're coming from Coletti but a tank of fuel only really lasts 35mins and its all stop/start too. How many times do you send the saw to be refilled during the day?,
  22. I still fail to see how this could be practical. A battery running for 35mins in an 8hour working window? Am I missing something?
