Ok i can see that if this is just a reccy climb and if yo like your gadgets n toys etc to play with thats within your own right but try this as a working climbing set up. assembling and disassembling. it just wouldnt work. if you dont trust your petzl then go for a harness that has side dees with webbing for a bridge and if you dont want to use that then tree climbing just isnt for you i guess.
  10. In a nutshell I think it would be a lot better to leave the OEM gold rIngs in place.
  11. We were chipping Beech, it was nice stuff all clean and the next door wanted as much as he could get of it.
  12. Save yourself the money and sell it on again and buy a decent saw. Will save you money in the long run!
  13. We use a 241 its a 2010 model and its a nice little saw. Had it about 3-4months now from new and no beat skipping at all so far seems to be a robust enough saw. Would I purchase one personally? Yeah I don't see why not.

  17. Had the crank in the freezer for a couple of days, slid in without any effort. Crankcase assembled but my query is with the excess gasket hanging over the edges, the piston side. Do you file these down?
