  3. Its definately a good way for the medics to get experience with Ham-grande injuries or maybe even lamb-mines, more than likely our lads could get caught up in hambushes so imo its essential and really could save someones bacon

  10. Todays job was to reduce a pop back to the forks in the main stem, told it was hand hold and no more than a truck load of waste by the guy I climbed for but ended up with 2 trucks filled to the brims with cord. Glad I took the lowering block and arb trolly Cheers Mr Coates

Well good on ya Ty for bucking the trend and spilling the beans about doing well, it seems to be a big NO NO these days for some reason The investment in a bench grinder so you can sharpen your stump teeth will pay for its self time and time again and also if you run with an Iveco tipper do what i did and board out a pair of old ladders as ramps, that way you need not rely on a labourer to help load and unload. Good grinding comes down to being organised, carrying spare teeth pockets bolts and belts is also a must.

  16. I nearly got caught out by the 2 minute silence but by chance I checked the time just as it hit 11.00. I mentioned it and our table in the restaurant and we all fell silent, the only noise that could be heard was the noise of our children playing in the back ground which made it that much more poignant. I for one welled up

  20. A mate of mine used to knock the tractor out of gear and let the pto drive the trailer:001_rolleyes: in a straight line he could get 40mph out of his fordson major but never had the guts to see what it cornered like at that speed
