  3. Well im not gready so if any members wish to use the picture of my well seasoned barn stored hard wood logs cut and split to customers requirements then please feel free.
  4. Here's a closer shot, it was taken at Norden farm Corfe Dorset on a metal detecting rally a couple of weeks ago and was the only vet pollard I saw.

  8. I've seen beech sun scorched after a dogooder removed the ivy in one go Just cut it at the base and let mother nature take its course:thumbup1:
  9. Just cut it off at ground level and then head height and remove the section leaving the rest to die off.
  10. Always found Matt more than fair and the best thing about a good mechanic is that you dont need them as often as a bad one. Ps I heard he lets his employees stay in the warm when it rains

  15. Well I was metal detecting inbetween making sand castles on the beach with my girls, a fantastic morning only tainted by a woman reversing into a parked Suzuki jeep and driving off. I wrote down the number plate and after walking down onto the sand the only person in sight was an elderly chap walking towards me with his dog. I asked very politely if it was his Suzuki parked in the car park and his reply was NO AND I DONT WANT TO BUY ANY HEATHER:lol: Well I bet my bottom bollock that it was his and him. Being negative only breeds negativity imo, if it was his jeep then the damage will probably reinforce his outlook on life.

  18. I recon Einstein was right when he said the next war will be fought with weapons beyond our comprehension and the one after that with sticks and stones. Starving is the last thing we should be worried about, lead underpants and nbc suites are more the order of the day.
