  13. No more than 18 months old, before buy the pulley I used a topping strop with a steel captive eye. I might go back to one of those as less can go wrong.
  14. Nope not done anything yet, Ill plod on with the 66 but she struggles with a 3ft bar. I had my first bash with the Alaskan mill earlier this week and could'nt belive how easy it was to set up, the 66 pulled the 3ft bar and chain through a pine butt but Im sure an 88 would be in its comfort zone rather than at the edge of it.

  18. Maybe the first quarter turn of the thread is a tad sharper than the rest and the cheek was swinging.

  22. Its nowhere near the swl even I shock loaded the rigging but its defo going to part your hair if it tompted you on the swede.
  23. About the same size as this bit from yesterday.
  24. Chogging down a dead cedar today and the pulley came undone . Lucky for us the ropes stayed in place and the section was lowered. This happened after we had been using the same lowering point for 5 hours so I can only think it worked loose. Its bent the cheek and as you can see in the picture plus the threads are out of line. I dont fancy trying to straighten it and not sure if I would trust it if a new cheek could be bought so might keep it as a key ring.
  25. Yes Jon it sure is Only bought it on thursday, going to do a few little job on it and then she will be in full swing pushing up the chip pile and sorting the yard out. Im like a kid with a new toy atm
