  1. We need more bank on Dave type set ups to show the banks how to make money got no time for any of them
  2. Fair Play you are persistent shame you were not down this way as i have a huge hedge to do over the next couple of days and i could do with an extra pair of hands. Good luck finding work
  3. I would leave it well alone as you could find yourself trying to find a new mature Acacia to go in its place . If you do get involved i would just cut it back to a suitble point and then go back again to keep it in check.
  4. I had been looking for a tracked chipper for ages and seen some right junk for stupid money. Then i came across an 03 Timberwolf 150 been completely reconditioned new tracks new bearings through out and resprayed all for £5500 Went to look at it with a lad who knows chippers inside out and it was the bargain i had been waiting for you just got to spend time looking good luck rob and let us know what you get.
  5. Every one round here delivers cord by the t and i have a weight ticket from every load never bought by volume just sold by volume but in deepest darkest Herefordshire we are behind the times so i guess it will come. Why would any body pay by volume with ash it would be a waist of time.
  6. On time with a smile ready to work and take the ruff with the smooth ie early finishes and late finishes. One of my pet hates is spitting and swearing when customer is in earshot
  7. Towing pay loads is p poor on hilux unless they have changed that on later models.
  8. Surely a firm like edf would pay by bacs straight in the bank?
  9. You must be getting old back in the house for 915 on your birthday
  10. The thought of eating that makes me feel ill looks awfull. I use to go to a caff up in Corby that did the best breakfast and burgers going cured many a hangover there.
  11. Could not agree more! I had one of the first 560 xp and it had teething problems it put me off and it went back to be replaced by a 362 but after reading on here how every body was getting on so well with there's i have got another one and they are a very good saw i just hope Stihl can keep up with Husqvarna.
  12. The only thing that puts me off the new generation of husky saws is that according to my dealer every time there is a fault and need to be plugged in to have the software adjusted its going to cost £50 for the privilege.Im sure people will get round this.
  13. A lot of the local polish lads keep asking me for Alder to smoke fish with they call by and pick some up and then drop me some rainbow trout off
  14. Just given up smoking [20 to 25 cigars a day] so i feel better now than i have for years so my weakest link was smoking
  15. We put a Laurel hedge in on top of retaining wall 18 months ago they were about 2ft high when planted 18 inch apart and 10 inch from wall its now forming a really good hedge pushing on for 3ft. Is the wall in good nick?
  16. There doing the rounds up here [HEREFORDSHIRE] as well one of our competitors had his chipper 2011 timberwolf nicked they popped the sheets off the rear of the shed cut the rails and lock with gas axe pushed it 150m and gone. Low life scum
  17. Any body getting 2 cube from a t is doing rather well or buying seasoned cord. All my cord is freshly felled and i get a return of 1.5 to 1.7 again it depends on species and moister content ash gets a better return oak and syc less
  18. Can we not just have one feekin day with no rain
  19. Now why did i not think of that brilliant!!!!
  20. I WOULD PAY £275 FOR IT:thumbup:
  21. I felt like that but a fortnight ago i bought a stihl br550 blower and a stihl disk cutter spoke to the chap on the phone who spoke broken English who suggested bank transfer. This made me feel uneasy so i checked his feed back and contacted some of the people he had sold items to who said he was genuine. Paid my money by bacs -15% for direct payment parcels arrive two days later. Some times you have to have faith in people and go on a gut instinct
  22. Bang out of order if your so frightened of ebay been fall of rogues and robbers why use it in the first place put it in local paper get two people come look at it offer you half what its advertised for.
  23. Did they tale this money out of a p pal ac?
  24. Yes sold an Audi s4 through e bay by p pal and bank transfer to a over seas buyer never worried me once but paid half by p pal and rest in to my bank when guy was here to pick it up. If p pal had tried to cancel it i would close my ac and let them take it to court. Once that money is in your bank its yours no court in the land would make you pay it if the vehical was not received back. If your not very confident in e bay why not stipulate cash on collection and no over seas bidders saves a lot of hassle for all party's:001_smile:
  25. Ive just read p pal terms they can give you a - on your ac but they can not take that money out of your bank they say they willclaim back through the courts its there in black and white on there terms and conditions
