  1. Never seen holes dug with a stumpgrinder:001_tt2:
  2. Get a nice sharp spade and cut through them. Why are you removing the hedge?
  3. All the 4mix stuff we have runs sweet as a nut and the km 130 and km100 have done some serious work in the last year all we use is the standard stihl oil
  4. Fair play for putting this together i have all ways wondered why there is no hand signals used in arb as there is in other industry i have worked in. A good crane driver will always see a clear hand signal ive worked with 100t cranes with huge jibs and always used hand signals its only really in the last few years two way radios were introduced by HSE.
  5. Can you collect from Herefordshire?
  6. Give these guys a call they will sort it. R T machinery in Aylesbury1296738197 Richard is the man to ask for it was his farther that bought Etesia to this country and is very helpful
  7. Mr ED bought it and the last time any body saw him he was steaming off in to the distance apparently he did send a post card from the rain forests of Borneo in 2009.
  8. I all ways put an extra 50 on small jobs and 100 on bigger ones as i expect to get knocked down a little if they don't haggle its happy days the lads get a bit extra. As has been said do not drop your price significantly as they may think your trying it on and a bad word spreads quicker than a good one
  9. Nail the bar stewards to the gates of hell i cant wait till i find some toe rag dipping his hand in my truck
  10. Home owner may use it once a year for five years commercially doubt it would last a week. Buy cheep buy twice!
  11. You got a click from me:001_smile:
  12. That looks painfall! Hope your back on your feet soon.
  13. Yep another miss spent youth but left all that behind to become an honest member of the community.
  14. Same as anything you get what you pay for. Bin it and buy a good second hand one i am shore spud would be able to sort a good second hand saw that will give you years of hassle free cutting.
  15. Micro chipper have there place in the arsenal of tools ie back garden job with crap access if you can leave chip on site but i would go for a well known 6 inch. Ive been looking for a tracked chipper for ages and seen a lot of junk, then finally i got a 2002 timberwolf completely reconditioned new tracks and resprayed for 5k. There are good second hand chippers out there you have just got to be prepared to travel to view them.
  16. We have just had a ford ranger for a fortnight as our isuzu was involved in a smash. Just like driving a car really,to highly geared to tow any weight and did not cope off road very well. Nice vehicle to drive but not a work horse IMO
  17. Hope all goes well mate
  18. Does the estate have a telehandler that could give you a hand . As above go carefull windblown can be trickey. Did one across a pedestrian brigde last week room for me the saw and tree any movement and it was going to be paifull.
  19. The Mutts. Even the little three litres will outshine a new disco imo
  20. 0.45 on the very first one then the more i tried the worse i got
  21. Does the Training provider supply you with all the gear, as when i did my 30 31 they provided everything?
  22. Spot on that mate. What you going to make out of the oak bur from Hamnish?
  23. Fair play for sticking it out when your paying for a crane you got to grit your teeth and get on with it what ever the weather.
  24. Bit slow getting back i think 5 to 600 as it is looks like you will have over a 1000 m3 when split . Try not to leave in big piles for two long as the mould will set in and once put in a bulk bag the mould seems to spread through the bag.
