  3. War is a terrible thing! And that documentary only scratches the service on the subject. On the other hand its the depleted uranium that give the shell its armour piercing quality.

Knock off early on your first day and head down towards the local train station and you will usually find cheap digs around there if not make way to nearest pub drink 10 pints and wake up to find your froze to the inside of the van. Or if you want to get organised check out local b&b on line find a nice old dear that will cook breakfast for you at 11 and tea at six that will be the cheapest option imo. Good luck i spent 12 years on lodging away and loved it all though did stop in some ruff places.

  6. Have you used any of the other splitters mentioned above as you would be able to compare i am not saying there poorly built they just does not match that of other machines.
  7. Same as anything you get what you pay for wallenstein is middle of the road stuff if you want it to be bomb proof thor or posch is what i would go for we looked in to getting a wallenstein but did not have the build quality and strength we were after .
  8. Ben could you not find some hedge layers near you and do a few days with them to learn the basics . That is what i did went with an old chap 76 years of age he showed me the basics and then told me to get on with it best way to learn in my opinion.

  14. Size species location air flow are all things that need to be taken into account to many variables to give a definitive answer. I have had ash in a shed with no airflow take a good 9 months then on the other hand I have had oak in billits in the field dry and ready to go in 6 months.
  15. Feel like i could drink our local dry tonight had a cheque for £1700 bounce and been to collect a det of £2500 for hedge laying and he is telling me it will be another 4 weeks worst of it is he has all ready had the grant money . The joy of been self employed?

  18. I like to have my bread and butter with jam on with a little dollop of cream and some hundreds and thousands. I want my kids to have as much as they can so its 7 days a week for me and i spend time with them every day.
