  5. Are you still after a tracked chipper there is one going through an auction with a a nice low reserve of 5 k.

  6. Where abouts are you ? For us there was two brands that stood out from the rest that was thor and riko both very good quality and well made . In the end we bought a 13 t thor magic with its petral engine from j turrner brilliant bit of kit will split enything you put through it . The only snag was its quite heavey to move around and are little compact tractor is not strong enough to lift it on the loader other wise its a cracking bit of kit. We have split about 100t with it this year and it still looks brand new. Just need to get a good saw bench to speed things up a bit .

  14. It was nisson that put the clutch in he does not tow but carrys a lot of weight i looked in to putting a solid drum in but i was told its the worst thing you could do . Another mate who has a single cab navara 57 plate has just had new clutch . They seem to be very high powerd and quick i think thats why they eat clutches
  15. I had a d22 had done 60k on an 03 when i had it nice looking truck plenty of grunt but so unreilable new clutch new head and rad . Afreind of mine has a d40 and nisson have put 3clutches in in 2years . I now have a 3l ISUZU rodeo and i cant fault it. Good on fuel towes well plenty of power loads of room .
  16. No problem ! I spend about 40 hours a week sat on diffrent mowers in the season so yes a lot does depend on the driver . Ihave a diffrent mower for diffrent grass . IE mulcher for cliants that have lawn cut regular then collecter for others . And in anser to your other question yes i have used a 2010 park pro it was ok 4x4 was good cut was ok and the person that ownes that mower swears by it . But for contracting no skag ferris iseki etesia hayter [rotary] all yes . Not knocking them just giving my opinion
  17. I think you will find the husqvana riders [ riders are there out front model name] are all articulated we had a rider 21 for two seasons put 400 hours on it . In my opinion stiga are ok for home owners who are not going to put that many hours on them . As for mulching its ok if the grass is short and dry but if its wet your wasting your time it looks awfull and you are left with big lumps of grass that dont brake down. I guess its horses for courses and you get what you pay for.
  18. If you got a price in mind for that saw let me know 07964947272

  19. Im looking for a saw of that size looks like new willing to pay good money !!
  20. No problem burning wet wood or any wood but if you burn fresh wet alder it will fill your chimmney with tar and sap if you dont have it swept first fire next winter and it will all catch and ull have one big fire between the stove and roof brook alder should really be left for 2 years to get sap out then it makes top firewood .
  21. Did you think any more about hireing out that tractor and grab i saw it in a thread and am intrested cheers mick
