  2. I had a 560 and when it was going it was a great saw but as soon as it warmed up it was a swine it got replaced with a 362 which is a good saw bit to much plastic but they all seem to be going that way. If you can get a 560 with no problems it would be a brilliant saw .

  15. IMO You are your own health and safety officer you know what your limits are and if you decide to push them and it all goes Pete tong its on your head . But on the other hand i have worked with people who have no common sense and need someone to dictate what they can and cant do .
  16. Ive been looking for a tipper for a while been messed about so thought i would ring around, spoke to Clive at atlas and he was really helpful looks like he has got something coming in that's in my budget and only two year old . I think they look aswell made as an ifor and cheaper cant go wrong.
  17. I would go for yew once its roots take it will grow quite quick as long as its well drained soil imo it makes one of the neatest hedges there is.
  18. How much did you give for your wp36 timber bear ?
  19. We will do about 150t this year and its all been split into 1200mm billets and cut up with a haki pilke eagle run off a compact . Ive hopefully got a grant towards a processor but will allso need a bigger tractor to move it around so its a lot of money to set up so will need to start buying cord in and may be hire it out to other firewood merchants .Can you not get a grant towards a processor . cheers mick
  20. Natalie do you own your own wood ,or do you manage them for other people . Cord is getting harder to get people that have been in the trade years are struggling to get all they need . I have only been doing firewood for three years and we cut all own but its getting to the point where i am going to buy in for next season but its proving hard to source anything locally at a reasonable price . How much do you sell a year?
  21. How did you come across that windfall?????
