  1. I know of a sawmills in herefordshire that pay 35£ t they make potato boxes or pallets out of it i think.
  2. If he has been good to you just be straight with him and tell him how you feel like other have said he could find more tree work or you could both agree its best you find other work as well as his tree work what ever the outcome at least everybody will know where they stand. I just wish i could find a part time climber that would be straight talking and turn up when he said he will:sneaky2:

  4. Nice early on finished went to work to finish a patio just finished the grouting and the heavens opened jumped in the truck worrying that it would be ruined came back to the smoothest joints ive ever seen .
  5. Just bought a 2 year old atlas tipper with mesh and ramps £2700 all in and its mint 5cube to do tomorrow it will make life so much easer just need to get some compartments made up so i can do 3 deliverys at once.

  7. Very difficult to answer there are so many changeable factors we are in the process of buying .9 of an acre for £16000 as it will give us access to our yard with out going over our drive. If it was Joe Bloggs down the road the price would of been a lot less.

  13. I have taken an ash out recently that had four w pecker holes in it and they looked to all be in use 70% of said tree was to rotten for firewood ,i allso know of another ash [coverd in fungus] that has 3 or more w pecker holes in next time im over that way ill get some pics.

  16. It seems to me that Wales know how to look after there own citizens as i know loads of lads that got all there tickets payed for but the scheme is only available in Wales which is a swine as i only live a few miles from the border .
  17. Take care if you are climbing this one as all the trees i have taken down with lots of woodpecker holes have been really rotten all the way through its like they know its rotten and decayed and that's where all the insects are . Just my two pence worth dont know this is all ways the case.
  18. What was the cost and has it made much difference to sales can you get a better price for the same product. The problem i have locally is there are loads of people selling wet wood and new customers all-ways worry that i will supply wet wood, once they see my product there all happy. I think by gaining Hetas accreditation will give the customer more confidence at the point of ordering so may order more and i may be able to charge more .

  22. As i said above edd if you get a good un there great if you get a duff one there pants luckly my dealer was very good and replaced mine with a 362 better to have a good saw than a great one that works when it wants to.
  23. Has anybody got any experience with Jotul stoves I am thinking of having one its a371 so would be grateful for all feedback good or bad. thanks LGW:
