  1. That is why they took it back and replaced it as they dont have the software to investigate the problem ,that is what my dealer told me and if it gets rid of the saw its good enough for me .
  2. We have just had a362 to replace a 560xp cant fault it been thinning with it done about 50t with it so its just starting to loosen up .
  3. Why dont deals like that come my way.
  4. Quality post !It was really slow to begin with but the last week its gone mad we are charging 90 on a single m3 and 85 for two or more but i cut all my own timber and transport with tractor and trailer . Its got to the point where i am going to have to start buying it in then i will put prices up another 10£ it going to be very painful buying cord at 50 £ t when i have been paying 10£ t standing i cant see people paying any more than 95£ a cube allthough i would like to charge 120 a cube.
  5. So your getting £16200 to supply and erect 6oom of feather edge fencing.
  6. There was an iveco flat bed with chipper and shredder mounted on it at an auction i was at today called a shredder mobile made by greenmech or at least had there stickers on it went for 16k . imo i cant really see a use for it .

  9. The worst thing is i read it twice and still missed that bit .
  10. Husqvarna have said its faulty chip and they will repair it me and the dealer have lost confidence in the saw so he replaced with a stihl 362 so now i just got to get rid of a 338 and im all orange and white and that the way ill be staying .
  11. Where abouts are you in the country?
  12. The guy behind cw owns more poplar than any other person in the country so i am shore a lot gets put through as firewood. They all so buy that much cord locally that its driving the price of cord up and making it scarce so the likes of me don't stand a chance buying cord locally. Dont get me wrong he is a big employer in Herefordshire and has pumped a lot of money in to the site at Madley , it just gets my goat that they push there product as environmentally friendly but look at all the kit and power the kilns must use .
  13. I took mine back today and they had the same problems after it warmed up they are going to phone husqvarna in the morning and get it sorted ive told them i want a different saw [not another 560 ] so will update you tomorrow.
  14. UPDATE ON 560XP Saws cutting out and will not start when hot absolute nightmare. Going back today to see what the problem is.
  15. Ill swap it for my 560 xp.
  16. Spoke to dealer today and he told me to drill a 1mm hole in the mesh on the breather pipe he assured me that this was the same fault that they had on the 357xp and it would cure it. IT DIDN'T Its going back tomorrow don't know what there going to do i don't have faith in it now so would like a diffrent saw dont know where i stand .
  17. I give 3k all in for ours 3 years ago.
  18. Mick, did you compare the farmer version before you bought? If so any reason why you didn't go for the cheaper version instead To be honest i tryed both and we wanted one with an engine so the tractor can feed it and power the eagle . Both very good machines but the magik is slightly better and its got the leader system. The only bit that annoyed me is the table is an extra 300£ but you got to have one. cheers mick
  19. When i bought our 13t magik i looked at a lot of machines and i came to the same conclusion that the magik is the best value machine the leader system is really good and works very well. All though its only 13 t it will split pretty much anything and we have done about 300t of billets with ours and there all 1200mm long even bur oak never stopped it . The only problem is moving big chunks of cord round to be split i use a little compact with loader to get it to the splitter then wrestle it the last little bit you have just got to be careful when splitting big pieces that it does not fall towards you. regards mick
  20. Thats what's pd me off the most woodpicker every other two stroke tool i own is stihl , its just a lot of lads i know have been saying this saw is going to be awesome . Ended up finishing off with a 660 with 30 bar on and it was only 6inch fir just easer than trying to start that stupid saw . At least the customer found it amusing .
  21. When i first bought the 560 i was very impressed but after the first week its become a huge let down poor starting when hot and cutting out under load . NOT ACCEPTABLE HUSQVARNA SORT IT OUT. Does the dealer have to except it back can some one please recommend a 60cc saw in the same price range please . cheers mick
  22. Dropped a piece of oak out of picker forgot i had moved the 260 took out the rear handle gutted. came home and the tractor had a flat tyre double gutted.
