Afternoon all, a friend of mine has approached me regarding conducting some deforestation in north Wales. Now this may be quite a nice little side line to my timber trailer however if it works and we can sell the wood I wouldn't mind continuing with it. So again I ask another couple of questions 1) who buys large quantities of timber? Am I best selling it planked, sawn, or as is? And 2) who can I approach to continue this venture if it works (get hold of the the land to fell the timber) I look forward to your thoughts!

Hi all, new to the forum so please be gentle!! Many moons ago I was a climber, however as the age (and weight) wore on I had a change of career into truck driving, I am currently based in Kent and specialise in farm related haulage. My question is this; I am looking at getting a timber trailer with crane attached, is their much demand for this sort of thing? If so where should I start looking to get it working? The trailer I have in mind is a 13.2 meter trailer with a 27ton capacity.
