  1. Inbox now empty Price road side will be £42 t will have to get back to you on delivered price as transport is being done by somebody else .

  3. Since the travellers camp at pembridge opened back up there has been a mini crime wave hit the area we have H and H security look after our stuff and if we leave stuff on site they look in on there rounds to make sure its ok.

I supply quite a few pubs and i always try and give them the best i can as its very good free advertising they usually have big fires which means big logs less work and they have fires going all day so need a lot of logs .Plus there is free beer and nice barmaids. That how i met Mrs Woodchopper

  17. Im sure a lot of people will be dropping there prices next year as they will have stock left over from this year as its been so mild a lot of the guys that do firewood round here have still got huge piles of firewood to get through on a plus note it might knock the price of cord down a bit.

Went to meet the first trailer load at weigh bridge and my god i was in for a surprise there was a total of 9.8 t on there these boys know how to load a trailer it was stacked in there tight and there was 4 bits on top that must of been 3t on there own so im more than happy with the deal . Just wish i had a camera to take pics i will next time as he rekons he has another six trailer loads i can have. Happy days :thumbup:

We agreed 150£ a trailer load which is not as sweet a deal as i thought it was but they are bringing it 4 miles Ive got on to the local potato farn and we can use there way bridge at least ill know for next time. And on the point of oak we keep our oak for two years the first outside and the second in the poly tunnel and its chopped small mixed in well no complaints yet and we have got through a lot of it .
  20. When measuring the stack how much do you allow for air its all oak ash syc some out of fields some out of plantations. When buying in timber i usually buy it standing and can work it out but when its in a stack i become a little confused. I think your right about the weighbridge its a bit of a trek in a tractor but at least its fair to everybody. Thanks to you both for replying
  21. Ill have to wait till the missus is cooking tea then ill have a quick perv problem is the last time i had a quick perv we got a virus that locked the computer for a week. Nice find!

A friend of mine has a huge garden machinery business on ebay is always getting container loads of stihl stuff and he is not a dealer but can quite easily get what ever stihl gear he want and because he buys a huge volume its cheap as chips so this guy could be doing the same . Me i always go to my local dealer as i want the backup. All so if it looks to good to be true it usually is.
  23. Ive been offered a lot of timber from a local farm and they want to drop it off in a 12t grain trailer they reckon they will get 10t of oak if they stack it in neat so does any body have an idea on this thanks Mike:001_smile:
  24. I might be able to help with some fiberglass ones send us a pm and ill have a look in shed tomorrow to make sure its a full set
