  1. I often lend my big saws out on the understanding that if damaged they sort it but these are people that use saws regularly:001_smile:
  2. Yes i think so. I have been looking at a hydro combi i think its one of the best splitters on the market. Wallenstian seem to do good machines at a reasonable price just did not do the length i required.

  9. Mowing comes to a end at the end of October all though we still use the big mowers for leaf collecting through November. Clients are not stupid and know when the grass stops growing you do not want them to think you are doing things needlessly. The bulk of our work then becomes hedge laying tree work logs plus through out the year we try to save things like fencing for the winter.
  10. I have exactly the same thing on a job were on at the moment the yew in question is down for a reduction so would be interested as to what the cause is. Its only on about 10% of the tree.
  11. That is a proper silky cut f me i bet that stung
  12. Just bought a 201 was told its the latest ones that has had problems ironed out. Had it 10 days and its had some hammer in that time just as good as a 200, chain brake handle does seem a bit flimsy. As for bigger saws we use 362 460 and a 560xp the 560 has best power to weight ratio. Right i must get these planning apps sorted.
  13. You just want some where to play with the quad.
  14. Thats the profit gone for the week then.
  15. I for one would be interested in how well the battery operated saws work as ive been considering buying it for a contract where noise is an issue. So keep us posted on how you get on.
  16. Getting busy now. A lot of people are ordering cut to size had someone ask for 2ft logs and then an old lady ask for 5 inch logs and lots of orders for 14 inch .Got some seasoned ash coming in just in case it goes as cold as two years ago.

  19. Sell by the m3 if the customer struggles to understand we then go on to explain size of trailer how many bulk bags. Best thing is have a website with pics of your load size and ask them to view it and choose once they have seen it they will buy.
