  1. I have Reynauds Have never had fingers curled up like that though. Mainly tingling and hands turning into blocks of uselessness. Best get him to go to a doctor
  2. OK Great that you discovered this thread I was advised it was a good idea to get registered to stay in with HO's and started the process. Not realising the complexity- as Peter says- ethnic checks truth and openness etc etc the list seemed endless. I'm sure it wasn't too onerous and maybe I should have delegated it to a more office mentality type. (wife) So' we got busy and despite your regular e mails warning that it would lapse just lost the impetus. A phone call guiding me through the process from where I got distracted might have worked better if that helps you make a decision going forward. I'm trying again but now am waiting for my log on details to be sent so I can do it online. I've got 1 week Now I'm worried when you say there is ongoing maintenance to keep up to date. Will I find time?
  3. makes me laugh really Perhaps a sliding scale
  4. Just do it Don't worry about neatness too much - just be relaxed If they are profiling you from your handwriting then the scruffiness won't hide your true character anyway. I've done a brief day taster session on this and it's very revealing. Don't forget- your doctor is likely very intelligent and his writing is poor so theres hope.
  5. sounds like its CHAS then but their logo sucks Damn- I know I really need to do both
  6. that is crap (as in a bummer) can you publish his face on here?
  7. I've been sitting on my constructionline application for 50 weeks now and have to make a decision. Should I get it completed or has CHAS taken over as the preferred Has anyone got any experience of either? I'd rather not get involved with both but maybe this is necessary
  8. yes awsome when you've got access this is the future Behind houses- thats another game I reckon we could have used this system on maybe 20% of the work we've had. Jealous...... Hmm.... yes ... I want one
  9. so you get paid £70 a day get paid holidays and all equipment supplied plus PPE Turn up for work on time Spend 15mins loading up 90 minutes travelling to job. Stand around while climber starts making a mess. Do max 4 hours graft then get back in vehicle and get driven back. Working outside working in a team doing dangerous 'man' work Sounds a good wage to me Better than internet grocery round up at Tescos. or McDonalds- where every second counts Are there better jobs out there

  21. Thats the way I roll If I'm telling you what to do and when to do it then you are my responsibility and I expect you to behave similar to my direct employed workers and join in with all H&S talks etc etc. It's just that you earn more as I'm not responsible for finding you work 48 weeks a year and can usually tell me when you want to work.
  22. A question yogi Why do you think the tree looks dead?
  23. By the way Be very wary of using a mole man- should I say ANY mole man They have dark arts £25 a mole They arrive in a big coat Walk around your field and bring back a good number of moles- often these have been caught previously and you pay A customer of mine ended up paying over £1000 to a guy like this until he realised
