About Me

Post code

  1. Mellaggan

Double tarmac driveway, open access from quiet road.
  2. Hello, In our Nursery and Forest School we will gladly accept woodchip, long or short logs of all sizes and any wide trunk cross sections as we use them as seats. Our Forest School areas always need a top up of woodchip, as we use eco methods for weed control etc. and around the playground equipment. Access will need to be arranged through Liam the site supervisor either through email or telephone. Drop off behind the big blue gates (next to Stags Head Pub) on Orsman road between 4pm and 6pm Monday to Friday as our carpark will be empty at that time of the day. In exchange we can offer cups of tea, coffee and biscuits. If a regular agreement between us comes to fruition then we could potentially pay per m3.

Wood chip needed for the garden and any wood welcome for throwing in the log burner. Have cash or beer tokens at the ready if needed. Big driveway, you’ll see where the wood hip/wood has been dumped previously. Thanks
  5. I'm looking for woodchips for my allotment. Please call for prior arrangement and I can meet you there to ensure they are delivered to the correct plot.
  6. DaveyMc

    Easy access allotment.
  7. Looking for (preferably untreated / organic) woodchips for the allotment, any amount accepted as I need to put chips in the path and as mulch. There's a decent sized car park right next to the plot but the path down is a bit narrow so suited best to vans and smaller trucks. I need to be there to let you in so please arrange a time to deliver and call me when you're near so I can open the gate for you. Depending on the season, please feel free to negotiate payment, if I've got fruits and veggies available you're more than welcome to them!
  8. Woodchip can be tipped in the school playground, we use it for paths and around the kids growing spaces. Please contact me first to check we have space - thank you.

  10. Hi there, We request mostly chipping, if logs are mixed in, this is fine also. No brash. Only chippings or logs. Drop off in car park, not layby. If it does you a favour to get rid of your chippings and logs, we'll take them! It's easy to drop off, just give us a call if you are passing with a load. Thanks for your consideration 👍 Ali

  17. I am just starting up a flower farm in a walled garden on the estate. The entrance to the garden is a bit tight at 2.5m but I have had wood chip delivered there. I have a plastic sheet set up by the entrance to dump wood chip on and you can either reverse in straight to it, or drive in an maneuver on the grass.

We are always looking for free clean woodchip (if possible) for our Miniature Pigs. We have two sites, one in Ewell, Epsom (Surrey) and the other one in Chessington (Surrey). The woodchip can contain some green leaf, our main priority is not to have yew tree clippings or thorns. Thank you.
  22. Hello there! We are a friendly allotment site whose members are currently desperate for woodchip. We offer payment of a box of biscuits Woodchip is used for for many things on our site, including: paths, weed suppressing, and sustainable growing practices which include using it as a soil cover to prevent water evaporation (which then reduces water use and so helps us all to be more environmentally friendly) We would be grateful if you could share any free woodchip with us as we are always in need of it (particularly so at the moment as our members are all very busy getting prepared for the 2023 growing season!) If you are able to drop then please call beforehand and one of our committee members who live locally will come and let you in the gate Many thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.
