We’re a primary school in Lansdown, Bath looking for clean, bramble‑free wood chip to support our Forest School, Quiet Garden and outdoor play areas. Any load size is appreciated. Easy access for tippers (can easily accommodate 3.5-tonne tippers and larger vans) Caretaker on site Mon–Fri, 7:00–13:30 Can arrange weekend mornings to seal the deal Clear space for tipping Happy to guide you in — and provide tea or coffee and toilet facilities All material goes directly to children’s outdoor learning — in areas such as our Forest School area, Quiet Garden, Mud Kitchen and playing field. To help us get these areas ready for the children as early in the year as possible, we’re looking for several tips of clean, bramble‑free wood chips. Any quantity is hugely appreciated and will go directly toward improving pupils’ outdoor learning and play. Access to the tipping site is through a large gate on Richmond Lane shown below (probably reverse in and drive out is the simplest and quickest in/out). Just tip next to the wooden structure 20 yards from the gate (also shown below). If you’re able to drop off a load, you’ll be making a genuinely positive difference to our pupils — and we’d be incredibly grateful. -
Hi, I am currently doing a school project in which we have to choose a patch of land, and design and create a hypothetical woodland scheme. For part of this, we have to identify the trees/shrubs around the perimeter of the field. If you could help with this, it would be much appreciated. Silverwood School is a special needs school that takes pupil from all over wiltshire. Pupils who are able help to take care of the site by maintaining the woodland and gardens. Our pupils love wheelbarrowing woodchip to all areas of our site to help develop areas and maintain the paths and beds at the school. Please come during School opening hours Monday-Friday 7am -5:30pm (avoid 8:40am and 3pm as this is pick up and drop off.) The tip site is just on the left as you come through the white gates. We are looking for some woodchips to develop paths and wooded areas within our school grounds. We would like chips that would look quite good as ground cover and for children to run/walk over.

We are a Nursery Class looking for mostly woodchips - clean and logs to cover the ground and frame our woodland learning space and outdoor paddock. Possibly larger amounts of woodchip for other areas of the school also. Please email to arrange a tip!

There are flower beds very close to the entrance of the school but the entrance road is very narrow so it would be best to unload nearer to the school. Contact the Site Manager Tim for details
