Yes it seems ok, comes with a Chinese engine (Rato) which is a bit of a shame. I will do a video in a week or 2 when I can find some wood to cut!

I'm no expert but it surely can't help that towns are almost entirely paved over? Front gardens are ripped up and replaced with block paving/tarmac, and rainwater isn't dealt with by the landowner, it's just all channelled into mains drains, never gets a chance to soak in to the ground.

I've done some on my own with a mulching blade on a brushcutter, yes it's slow but atleast there's no material to get rid of. Assuming there's no trees etc nearby, wonder how well it would work if you cut a nice wide border round the hectare then set fire to the lot in situ!?

If the dash lights up as normal then it's probably the starter motor (solenoid), or a dodgy connection If it was the immobiliser then the immobiliser light would be going mad. If it was the ignition switch (changed mine last week!) then the lights wouldn't come on/or not stay on

Got the petrol balfor 700mm, glad to get one as I had been thinking about one for years. Not the easiest thing to move around but just possible to load into the van on my own. it will be getting a proper test this weekend and will hopefully be running all day long!

Yes and also wouldn't phone up insurance company asking for "advice" as this could/will get logged on the system as a claim!

There's been a few threads on these recently, I got a set of 3M Peltor Worktunes off ebay from USA a few months ago, they seem very good, and the batteries last a long time. Not sure if I'm brave enough to use them in the rain yet?!

No matter what courier company, all of the times when they have sent an email or text with a delivery day, NEVER once has the item turned up on the specified day!

Debris/scaffold netting seems to work, if necessary can be weighed down with a strip of wood stapled to the bottom

Has anyone got/used one of the petrol powered circular saw benches? (haven't got a tractor/pto) I wonder how easy they are to drag around?

The only thing to watch with burning rhody is due to the shape of the stems (big tangled mess) it doesn't always "sit down" on a fire very well, so it burns out in the middle. Obviously helps to cut the stems into smaller pieces. Another suggestion, assuming you don't get a digger in! Send someone round with a strimmer with a mulching blade to try and reduce the volume of the thinner stuff and make a bit of room!

Maximum allowed width for 3.5t vehicles is 2.4m but ideally you don't want it much wider than the towing vehicle Personally I would say save up for a 2nd hand trailer as it will save you a lot of hassle and time. Bare in mind that they never seem to lose much value, you could probably sell it on in a few years for about what you paid for it!

I hate mice, they seems to be on a rampage in the sheds right now, chewing on anything foamy. Air filters on machines, ear defenders, spare pipe lagging, lost a whole box of unused mini roller sleeves! I've had success with traps in the past but don't seem interested at the minute. I will have to try one of those bucket traps. Got two 4month old kittens, wee brother and a sister, hoping they will grow in to good mousers! Had to put an older cat down earlier this year, she wasn't much of a hunter though
