  1. was it a white one I've heard these area the worst ones
  2. its just what i have observed round our way young drivers don't seem to bother with fast cars as much when i were a lad under 25 i should have been banned but luckily never got caught there just doesn't seem to be the same passion for proper rear wheel drive fast cars that we used to have
  3. good for you the only thing i would point out is your fuel pipe it tends to go hard after a relatively short time and weeps diesel
  4. it frightens me sometimes to see the standard of driving on our roads old people seem to be the worse i say retests at 65 should be mandatory
  5. don't waste your time get it welded the chance of getting the oil cleaned out to carry out a repair is slim if it does seal i wouldn't think it will last as the combination of heat expansion and oil thrown into the mix doesn't make for a long lasting repair save your money for a welded repair
  6. I've tried smallish stuff and it smoked quite bad it was more to see what other peoples experiences were with a gasifying boiler thanks for your reply
  7. i am glad these branch loggers have reappeared i am wondering if anybody burns this stuff in a gasifying boiler i would be very interested in speaking to somebody regarding this as i am having a serious think about one if anyone can answer my questions could you pm me
  8. if you can do bits to your crushers i wouldn't hesitate buying this, crushers are a ball ache compared to chippers
  9. at a £1000 i would buy it do some repairs and have a good chipper at the end of it a splash of paint to finish off even if it was totally bolloxed you could still break it up and make money on it
  10. big metal wedges and a hammer could be quicker and cleaner if they are knot free
  11. could you turn them up and get a few stitches put in the right place to hold them there?
  12. glazing the bores is usually caused by light loading doesn't matter what revs it is turn the throttle down rather than a flow reducer theres no point burning diesel to pump oil round a valve when the same thing could be achieved by reducing rpm
  13. yep you should be able to
  14. sheared key or motor shaft perhaps
  15. cracking looking bird i wouldn't stick my face within striking distance though that beak wasn't built for kissing
  16. that looks like a tidy set up
  17. i find it hard to believe the council would do this as the council tree boys in our seem to manage to do everything quite well with just a deck of cards:sneaky2:
  18. i charge them just the same as any other business and wouldn't think twice about it as a staunch non believer god won't pay for food on your table
  19. at least they still have fingers
  20. the engines in the top deck of the machine i can't see a drive arrangement going down to a pto it must be hydraulic drive
  21. the worst one i seen was on a mitsibushi evo track car the bolt went thru the tyre thru the wheel and took the brake hose off the calliper
  22. the word crap springs to mind if your timbers that bad and you can't split it with a decent axe throw it to the back off the pile or cut it further with your chainsaw save your money that looks pretty poor to me
  23. start with fuel system for a kick off
  24. pay somebody to clear it up and then you sell the timber off it problem solved thats my advice if you are certain that your tree is worth a fortune:thumbup:
