  1. the word crap springs to mind if your timbers that bad and you can't split it with a decent axe throw it to the back off the pile or cut it further with your chainsaw save your money that looks pretty poor to me
  2. start with fuel system for a kick off
  3. pay somebody to clear it up and then you sell the timber off it problem solved thats my advice if you are certain that your tree is worth a fortune:thumbup:
  4. a simple high pressure check valve on the outlet of the motor would do, also take a close up off the end of the motor to get a look at the id plate
  5. just emails offering deals on selling me container loads of firewood
  6. i keep getting emails from foreign log companies from eastern europe and was thinking about contamination from chernobyl i wonder if this is possible any thoughts chaps
  7. just been having a think about this are you using a hammer circuit or double acting circuit as if you are using a double acting circuit there may be excessive back pressure in the return line causing the seals to pop out check your machine that there is a direct to tank return line that passes thru the return filter as if there is any debris you don't want cross contamination also you should be able to check the pressure on your machine with the valves on the dipper closed off there will be m16 test points on the valve block or pump then recheck with the motor running under load or tee in at the dipper connection i would reckon that your motor is made by parker or some other common manufacturer i would doubt that stanley would make it try whitehouse hydraulics for some id
  8. is it a honda engine disconnect the kill switch wiring for a kick off take the bottom off the filter bowl and make sure petrol runs thru up inside the carb where the screw that holds the filter bowl on goes into take out the main jet and emulsion tube make sure they are spotless try that lot for a kick off and see what happens is it cutting out under load or no load?
  9. thats what i am using but i have been making the mistake off cutting it
  10. you need a flow meter not a bucket as an excavator pumps flow rate is worked at pressure i.e 50l/m at 2000 psi so if you don't have a restriction to get your pressure up you will get a false reading
  11. we went to a place called clachtoll up the north of scotland the mackerel were so abundant we were trying to fish on the seabed and we couldn't get thru them there must have been millions of them easy fishing but a pain in the butt if you want something else other than mackies
  12. to hollow grind you would have turned the blade the other way on your grinder 90deg to the axis off the grinding wheel

  19. if your digger is stalling already you aint going to get anymore oomph out of it without it stalling you have limited off power unless there is a problem with your digger i.e. engine problem the pump on it will regulate to keep the engine rpm at the selected speed if you don't know what your doing i would suggest getting in somebody that does
  20. can you take a pic of the top of the saddle i take it the shiny bit in between the 2 pins is the oil quick system how does it compensate for wear on the pins does the connector float
  21. it sounds like the relief valve on the mini digger is set too high if its stalling the digger reset the relief valve to about 2500psi and try that
  22. no one of the lads will come and collect the stuff later you can pay me now though:lol:
