  3. A lot of machines like this are filled with jerry cans over the years which are painted on the inside, the paint flakes off and is usually just the size to fit up the pick up tube! As doobin says those primer thingys usually perish and go hard over time Thanks for letting us know the out come:thumbup:
  4. Mine had sucked up a load of grass in to the fuel pick up so didn't show until under load, yours sounds angle related so could be air in top of filter? Or level in tank? Let us know the out come

  9. I have a dovre 12kw, it's a bit like an open fire with doors, so works like a wood burner has a blast like a fire, can fit 2 ft lumps in and has a convection system behind. It takes air in at the base passes it behind and it comes out of a vent in the next room/upstairs/my log store. So your logs are pre heated along with your bed!

    Winch Cables

We use a local crane hire place called able lifting, the guy looks at the cable(sorry rope) and counts the number of broken fibres in relation to cross section. I think it's something like 12 or more and it fails. As for the crimped end he says you don't need a crimp and you can use 3 of those clamp thingys. Which is handy if you snap the rope in the woods you can at least finish a job! Able lifting in poole is the chap Cheers:thumbup:
  13. When you look at videos on the tube, a v shape cutter on a horizontal splitter, with a tray both sides to shuffle the wood along seems to work well, you could angle the out tray down to load bags If you build any thing put some pics up:thumbup:
  14. Eere Matty how do you know about trying on ladies things????
  15. As above- bearing!
  16. If it pulls your car out of the ditch even once it's worth £10!
  17. I have done quite a lot of these, and the best way to get everything square is to make a massive template out of 3x2 baton, leave one side hinged so you can get it on and off a tree and a diagonal across 2 of the corners to make it rigid. Even if you use it to mark the post positions with spray marker. After a few you will probably throw it away but it helps get your eye in. Then as mentioned use a compass to get them square to each other. I would say you were about right on 4 per day. I may also use 4" rails as they don't snap so quick when the cows lean on them! Please post some pics when your done! Good luck
  18. Looks great to me - well done
  19. Try Matt at budd plant, I bought a komatsu from him, ter registered and very helpfull tends to work at the cheaper end of the market! He's in bath Top bloke
  20. Holm oak holds loads, and when you have roughed it out spin it fast and the water will fling out across the ceiling!
  21. Hi Sam I'm interested to see you have left the ram in place, does it not de rate the lifting capacity? As I'm on the limit on my mini all the time! Where and how much was your grab? If the link below works it is great, he picks the trailer up I could watch him all day! Cheers rich
  22. Also don't have a flat blade, as the surface area is too much on the wood. On mine I have made it curved so only a small area cuts in to the wood to start with. If that makes sense!
  23. £90/ cube
  24. Try budd plant in bath, he always has a good choice, top bloke and ter certifies his machines www.buddplant.co.uk - homepage
  25. Gosh imagine a chainsaw with arms? They would take over........
