  2. Haha it that wet rings or large butts? sorry couldn't resist!
  3. Ha a few years ago I heard of one guy putting the shuttle in neutral in a fast track, at the top of telegraph hill in Devon, the speed camera half way down clocked him at 70!!!! Better him than me:lol:
  4. I had a mini once with a hidden locking battery switch in the boot, I think I got it from a marine chandlers, as boat security is also a problem, it needed a separate key to turn on so even if you did find it you cannot operate it, It would be good to lock the brakes on some how?
  5. So.... I don't get it? Does face book charge, and if so how much? As a business do I have to use the business version? Or can I just use my name? And finally (sorry) I still don't get the search thing? I don't use it at the moment but am very interested (and unsure) thanks in advance
  6. Sounds like a job for a good old fashioned clearing saw, mulcher blade, pitch fork and one of those bonfire thingys,!
  7. Phwor- I do like that grab- doobin will be along soon too!
  8. I have 2 and they both do it, there was another thread some where about them and I think the conclusion was as above- new springs:thumbup:
  9. I know this might sound a bit simple but good quality ppe that's not too heavy, I don't use a forestry helmet when processing just some light weight ear defenders and glasses, light weight jacket and chainsaw trousers, I also avoid braces because they stop me standing up straight, and have a weight lifters belt, If you have a sore back a cream called voltarol ( or the cheap equilivent) does work wonders:thumbup: the less weight you carry around with you all day the better good luck rich
  10. My sister put her old Nintendo ds on ebay last year, lady bought it, gave to kid for Xmas, 1 month later kid drops it in bath and lady turns up at my sisters house demanding her money back!!! She stood her ground and refused but hasn't sold on there since Some people have a nerve and no concept of right and wrong! Good luck and let us know how it goes
  11. I have a palms crane and a polish trailer from Halse of honiton and for the big lumps I also take the bolsters out and with a wire strop looped under the log and attached to the trailer it will roll the log on
  12. Hi bob I only do big butts and rings! Ha ha:lol: Good to know a nationwide price though as it is hard to keep track when in your own little world
  13. Extending crane and steering drawbar are really worth their extra money, my tractor and trailer would be still stuck in the woods now if it weren't for the steering!! Cheers rich:thumbup:
  14. There is a big one on the lawn where I work at kingstonlacy probably one of the last to be planted by the banks family cheers
  15. Thanks that's great, I am really keen on buying a tool for a variety of uses, as doobin said I suppose there is the beaver pack route but it is a bit limited for other things other than drilling up the road! There is usually second hand generators on scum tree and then it can be hidden 10 m away so your away from the noise, I often buy wood on site so cut it all and split on site then transport it as logs:thumbup: cheers
  16. How well does it run off a generator? What watt is the motor? It's a great idea as you can hide the generator so you are away from the noise!
  17. I did mine at sun traffic management in somerton, in Somerset, great course got to play with traffic lights all day! Cheers
  18. Do you find the oil flow high enough to operate all the other controls and does it get hot? I do like the idea of them but it's also a weight issue for me on a 1.5 t Cheers rich

  24. At 4.39 there is a pic of the hinge, and the back cut seems to be below the gob, level it all up next time:thumbup: cheers for sharing rich
