  1. For a stump that size, depending on distance to travel, access, proximity to walls/fences/patio etc, arisings staying on site or removed, Would be somewhere between 120-160. Will always be cheaper to hire and do yourself but how much do you value your own time? and it’s good to watch and learn from someone experienced if you’ve never done this before. just my 2p worth
  2. No experience working with but brilliant firewood once seasoned properly 👍
  3. I wouldn’t be burning any of that till it’s been properly dried ready for next winter. if you put a location someone on here maybe able to supply some decent dry logs or know iof someone who may have a little stock left (bit of a shortage now as so many people at home burning during lockdown)
  4. I have the stein with solid wheels, heavy, but then I guess they all need to be. Certainly a time saver on certain jobs and paid for itself in no time.
  5. I always take my finds with me and add it to the scrap pile to be weighed in. Picked up loads of other peoples discarded stuff too so this a is a very good point made. I’m also a keen fisherman so always collecting litter whilst I’m by the river 👍
  6. Got one of these but the next strength down- would def get the one in the link. Not found much of value yet but only used it a couple of times so far. 54p in small coins was the most exciting 😏 but will def be giving it another go once the water warms up a bit Fishing Magnet 422kg Pull Force Neodymium 90mm Magnet With 15m rope and gloves WWW.EBAY.CO.UK 422kg Fishing Recovery Neodymium Magnet 90mm. 304 Stainless steel /...
  7. Was due to dismantle a medium sized alder today, partly over a conservatory roof. Thought better of it and just doing some ground based work as 52mph gusts just wasn’t my idea of fun 👍
  8. Location will help 😏
  9. Hi all, not sure if this is in the right section, but I’m in urgent need of some new either Predator multitip teeth or rhino alternatives for a big job I have on tomorrow. placed an order at the beginning of the week with northern arb supplies ( who have been brilliant this time), but royally let down by UPS. Were due to be delivered on Wednesday and have now allegedly been scanned at Stanford le Hope distribution centre And are possibly now stuck there with no delivery date being confirmed, just sometime next week! Won’t allow collection - only 30 mins from me so would be happy to do that. Anyone have any that I could purchase please or know any localish stockists in Essex? cheers guys 👍
  10. War of attrition! Keep cutting back, stripping out, digging out small stems, cut off bigger ones, poison with glyphosate, or use eco plugs (same thing but more controlled), repeat process again and again until there’s no more regrowth. No magic wand unfortunately- just hard work, patience, and swearing until it’s gone 👍
  11. Sorry, I should have said I meant the ignore user button
  12. Makes some threads that started off as interesting unreadable- very annoying when the abuse and derailing starts. Have used the ignore button in the past but can’t find it now!
  13. Definitely Peregrine
  14. Video fine for me, iPhone
  15. Just started my new 8010 this afternoon for the first time - feels very good and smooth. Will get to use it properly next week so will see how it goes 👍
  16. Just bought one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STIHL-KOMBI-COMBI-COMPATIBLE-POLE-PRUNER-CHAINSAW-FITS-STIHL-KOMBI-LIKE-KM-HT/324434670754?hash=item4b89d034a2:g:yOgAAOSw2LFeFwVs Seems to fit ok so maybe the whole range is interchangeable?
  17. Very good - will listen out for more. She’s very easy on the eye too 😏
  18. Vid works fine on my iPhone with safari browser 👍
  19. Do you have pics of the actual items, serial numbers etc? Are they on arbsafe register? just see your other post with serial number
  20. Sorry to hear that bud - will keep an eye out as not far from us.
  21. Got a 360 about 6/7 years ago and been a brilliant bit of kit that has earned its price several times over. Only weak points are the brake arrangement which is very poor - get some spare cables as you will need them, and the exhaust shook itself to bits a couple of times. looking to upgrade but not yet sure what to
  22. That’s one I would avoid for any kind of livestock. Horse place that takes some of my chips insists on no yew.
  23. Depends on your area but here around Essex 130 - 140 per bay materials and labour, that’s decent quality close boarded panels. That’s about 60 on materials. Disposal is extra - if it’s just soil, maybe 30 for a 6/7 bay domestic fence. More if you’re taking out old fence/concrete/timber all have different disposal costs. never price on day rate for fencing
  24. So very little more than brash dragger money. A whole lot more job satisfaction though and sounds like nice surroundings to work in.
  25. The echo pb 8010 is about 580.00 if you shop around. Will be ordering one this month after using a br500 (I think)of a mates. But I don’t want another 4 mix engine. Have a few echo bits and always been impressed with them
