  1. Got a 360SW nearly 3 years ago from Arbrep who have been very good, and as Old Mill said, cheaper than direct from Predator. I have had a few issues with mine, new carb, exhaust shook itself to pieces, new fuel cap - all done under warranty by Unipower. Brake cable - well I'm on my third one and it's done under 150 hours. The inefficient brake definitely lets it down and really needs a complete redesign. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 460SW or an HB20 when budget allows.
  2. Gutted - did the biggest hazel I'd seen only 2 months ago in Chelmsford. All the timber would have fitted your spec perfectly. All logged up now unfortunately
  3. Tried the full gravel board type and they still managed to kick them to pieces. After I had replaced them for the 4th time I think they got bored. I got paid each time for my work but it was a pita
  4. Horse chestnut definitely - you should be able to sell the logs on gumtree if you really don't want them and be a few quid up! Burns well in logburner so keep them if you have one
  5. Got recovered last week via the AA no problem after cambelt went. Local subcontract company carried me and towed chipper behind. Driver however was a complete idiot, couldn't sort out temporary tow hitch - i did that, and his driving standard was appallingly dangerous and scary. I have lodged a complaint with the director of said firm!
  6. Started industrial building grass cutting today - nice and dry!
  7. Whereabouts are please? Cheers
  8. 200 is hardly mates rates - it's a rip off. 75 max down to ground if local
  9. 200 is hardly mates rates - it's a rip off. 75 max down to grpund if local
  10. Just an advert for the private auction on the 18th Feb. Intentionally priced way over the top so no one actually hits the buy it now button
  11. A mate is a mechanic at a multi make main dealers and they ditched Sangyong along with a couple of other brands as there were too many build quality problems which was going to get worse the older the vehicles got - iwarranty claims etc. He rates Mitsubishi as they get these back for repairs less often than most
  12. I have exactly the same problem with mine. Tried a new bar, new chain, the same result again. Quite frustrating. Other than that, cracking little saw and my go to tool for pruning/light reductions -along with a silky of course!
  13. Why do some artic drivers, when parked in a lay-by park with the cab pointing into the verge? In case the handbrake fails or they get hit from behind while they're asleep - they can't roll out into the traffic stream?
  14. Got the same on my Daily at the moment. Mechanic has fitted new thermostat as the old one had fallen apart. Still overheating. Water pump coming off today to check if that's the problem. Also heater been very poor for a couple of months - coincidence?
  15.

<p>Hi Steve, sorry for the delay - was using my tablet during the week and I can't open the message tab on that for some reason. Taken some pics of the smoke tree next to the tamarisk - will send over via ebay pics I think. Total weight of the two about 15kg. Smoke is about 4 1/2ft long, can cut in half if easier? I don't really have anything else unusual to make up a pallet though. Got plenty of big bits of yew and some mulberry. Cheers,</p>

Try IJT direct - have a good range of refurb, class A, B, C etc. Good service too in my limited experience
  17. PC usually, can't open message tab on my tablet, phone when I'm on break or in the bath!
  18. Old thread here for ya! http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/maintenance-help/3061-jensen-528t-blade-bolt-torque.html
  19. Had three for tennis elbow - each gave about 3 months relief. Bloody painful injection! Changed the job I was doing (fork truck driver) and my osteopath/alternative therapist did a lot of muscle and joint manipulation and it's been pretty good for over 14 years now so long as I vary the work i do
  20. Had a 160 for a few years - apparently no two were the same from the factory so buying spares was a total minefield. The part numbers never seemed to match the diagram in the manual. It caught fire right at the end of a job, and I replaced it with a Jensen 530 - best move I ever made I think! I may even still have an original manual lurking somewhere for the Chipmaster if anyone wants it?
  21. Seems to be quite common to produce check codes for insurance annually. I have to send a copy of licence and code every year to Stavely Head Insurance. When I asked why they didn't just keep a copy of my licence (been with them over 10 years), they said they can't because of data protection or some such guff. I just call it laziness!
