    Did a medium sycamore removal over one a few weeks ago. Put a thick brash mat down, lowered everything I could and did manageable chogs from the last 15ft or so. I had also tarped the whole area so make the clean up easier. Took a bit longer than normal but priced accordingly. Left it immaculate and customer was happy 👍

    Not my worst cock up but almost finished a line of connies remove and grind. Was undercut on my already reasonable price but negotiated a midway deal as they know my work and trust me and arranged for some log goblins to clear all the logs. Put it as 5 days for two of us - wrong ☹️ Done 6 days so far and got 6 more stumps to grind tomorrow morning - horrible soil, full of stones, on my 3rd set of teeth after 17 stumps. plus point is I picked up two jobs from neighbours at a better rate 👍

    I normally get one sharpen on the 50% of multitips that aren’t wrecked but I run rhinos as the leading teeth as they seem to be more aggressive when new and easier to get an edge on with a diamond disc

    Just picked up this 011av, Thought I’d give it a try so fresh fuel And it was up and running in around half a dozen pulls. Seems to run ok, will need to adjust carb a little to get it idling better. Oil pump seems to work, no bar or chain with it. Question is - do I shell out for the missing parts and use it or sell as is? Any ideas if it has a value or for spares?

    And now worth? a mate bought 400 quids worth quite near the start and doesn’t know the password. Has it on an old hard drive but has no clue to what he chose all those years ago. Currently “worth” several Million but without a password it’s got no value at all ☹️

    Wrong tree in the wrong place, trunk looks in poor condition. fell and replace with something more suitable to be totally honest with you. Sorry but no amount of propping can change the facts

    Yeah they thought they could dig it out, then tried to burn it. Even if they had dug it out they would never have got it out of the hole or through the narrow gate without a hell of a lot of graft with an axe and mattock.
