  1. Ahhhh hello Jim, my mate in Somerset has just bought one of yer chippers and we'll both be testing it out next week !
  2. tried one earlier this year and was amazed at how powerful it was, i was also amazed at how horrible the single sided chain brake handle was when it came to clicking off the chain brake. I bought the newer 360T (which has a double sided chain brake handle) but the older 350 felt alot more powerful.
  3. I used to get an extra £1 an hour fer working away and the boss paid fer the b&b so it wasn't really worth it. Anudder chap I worked fer paid us £25 a noight and he supplied the B&B. Some noights he stayed over and we got roight on it and he payed fer all the booze and food and we'd pocket the £25, i do loike paying my way though as i'm not there to sponge off de bossman.
  4. knock on my door as you drive by Kevin and oil lend thee a helping hand:thumbup1:
  5. Buy an Echo CS 360 TES.
  6. Utility is good for getting some experience loike the op states. But domestic is generally more challenging and pays alot more in my opinion.
  7. Thought those pre 2002 L200's were unburstable. Did ya get her fixed?
  8. Hopefully he's simply let you down and isn't returning yer calls / texts. Concerning nonetheless.
  9. loike.

  11. Husky cans do fit echo top handed saw. Ure call amigo.
  12. IPhone 8 GTI DOHC 16 vvti will be out soon no doubt.....
  13. Interesting as i'm in Zante and although it's a long way from Kos the locals have told me that some of those islands have benefited from the influx of refugees as some are middle class and quite well heeled thus spend out on proper accommodation and have helped extend the 'tourist season'. The media spin is quite shocking really.
  14. Shameful behaviour!
  15. Interesting points regarding the tri axle trailers Jon so don't discount them. Oil be buying a tipper trailer next year and will try and pick up an older ifor 10' X 5'6'' as they are well proven compared to the newer ifor models, if not oil buy a Brian James.
  16. I run same setup ie; double cab with a chip box. Doubt yew'd fit 3 cube in there though.
  17. I loike those Brian James trailers but only the twin axle versions as a tri axle eats into your gross weight and can be harder to shunt about due to excess tyre scrub.
  18. I use a small 'one man band' up my way, he's amazing and only charges £15 per hour. This guy is so up front and honest. He has become the saviour for my truck, chipper, wife's Hyundai and me mudder in laws Honda CRV. He talks me out of fitting unnecessary new parts cos he knows I loike to spend out on my kit if I feel it needs it! Basically my kit looks shabby but is over serviced. Last year he was asked to do a load of work on a Range Rover Sport super charged thingamajig and he apologised to the owner upon presenting he with a bill for nearly £800 due to having to use genuine land rover parts...... matey burst out laughing and said the Exeter based main steal.. err dealer wanted £2500 plus vat to do the same work!!!
  19. Hillbillys!
  20. Seconded.
  21. Getting that beaming smile and firm handshake from a happy customer knowing they will recommend you..... all the while thinking 'did I actually pull that off ok! '
  22. 'There is always someone better'

  24. It'll loosen up given a few weeks.
