  1. yep quite rare over here. 3.1 enjun will be the same 4gj2 lump as fitted to the Isuzu Trooper me tinks. wonder if it has a low range box also ?
  2. eBay item number:281733330467 Isuzu/Izuzu Pick up Elf Tilt Cab 3.5 tonne 4 wheel drive | eBay
  3. BigT, i was about to winch my chipper off the rear of my pickup and down the ramps on friday morning when i neglected to click the directional lever on the hand winch correctly, this resulted in the chipper racing down the ramps backwards and the crank handle on the hand winch racing around and smacking the bejaysus out of my left hand. The chipper was fine but the winch is now distorted and the plastic part of the crank handle fractured. My hand was sore ferra while but was aok. I'm gonna look out for a small chipper trailer (possibly a pedestrian roller type) or fit the safer and easier to use electric winch to my pickup to load and unload the chipper. Just thought you shud keep this in mind. W
  4. Big T i had the same problem with my Greenmech GMR100 (the fore runner to the CS100) and new blades were the answer as the original blades were sharpened beyond their 'service limit' and sharpened unevenly. New blades meant better chipping performace and the vibrations have been banished.
  5. yep seized bolts and an oil & filter change whilst it was in there.
  6. genuine blades for me only. dealer fitted them last year at a total cost of £400. I too am very careful as to what is fed thru the chipper as the blades are expensive.
  7. i have personally found Bicton to be poor to deal with and the caliber of people they pass out to be poor also. Mark Isted had a pretty bad rep. as an assessor and in general a poor attitude to people, i had a dreadful time of it on 1 particular occasion when he was assessing me and he destroyed my confidence even before i started an assessment. I do believe he had to undergo some 'attutude re-adjustment' in order to stay in the industry. Hiline do training too Dan. Good luck with it DanClimbsTrees.
  8. i do alot of ground work with an echo 360 tes climbing saw on a 14'' b&c. very agile, quick saw and the 14'' bar makes it ideal for logging up.
  9. it'll definately fit fit fit.
  10. No Mr. Very Big T, i positioned the winch handle so as it is clear of everyting and i can rotate it 360 degrees. I may fit an electric winch instead as i've wan sat idle in me garage! Electric winch is alot less faff than manually winding the chipper up and down the ramps. You are gonna be amazed at wot a CS100 can do.
  11. Cheers TGB, but will i hafta pay ferret again ! ?
  12. 6th post down is my setup. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/89032-winch-get-wee-chipper-my-pickup.html

When i press the AT icon on my phone it throws up a dialog box saying 'CONNECTING TO SERVER' and looks as thought it's trying but never gets there ! Any advice re. this problem i'm having ? Tanks alot, W

  15. Tanks Spud, just 1 or 2 fer sale in that link i see !
  16. tanks Spudgunner.
  17. was flat topping a rough mixed species hedge and when i stopped the saw i noticed the starting grip was missing ! I assume the 020T and MS200T are identical part numbers ? Anyway it's for an 020T if anyone has a used one fer sale then let me know please.
  18. Very noice truck Reg. Is that a load handler fitted to the tailgate ? That beauty will take alot of chip if ya extend the greedy boards upwards by anudder 12'' or so. Ya cud have a simple tarpaulin made up with elastic shock cord round the edges to attach to the top of the greedy boards and stop chip blowing out all over the gaff.
  19. thought the older L200's up to Y reg or 51 reg were the good ones and the later ones up to 06/56 reg were the bad un's with crank pulley failures and over heating issues ?
  20. Bob i reckon the whole shebang weighed in at 5,700KG ???
  21. yep yule need to brace/strengthen the ladder rack. Thas why i over engineered my ladder rack u can see in the pics above.
  22. here is my set up.
  23. looks really good. does the roof lift off/up so you can stand in the butt and fork out woodchip ?
  24. or plywood as my mate smashed the glass on his L200 canopy and the cost of replacement was mega $$$$
