  1. Thanks for all the various bits of advice. Sorry I haven't given more juicy details, but I know the guy in question uses this forum, and I don't want to muddy the waters too much while I'm trying to resolve the situation. Cheers!
  2. Hi All, I have been working as a self-employed groundie for various tree surgeons for several years, and this is the first time I have encountered this problem. A guy I have done a couple of days' work for is refusing to pay me for spurious reasons. Does anyone have any tips on what my practical options are. I live in Scotland, so possibly the details of how small claims courts etc work could be different from in England. Any advise much appreciated. Cheers, Dru
  3. Had a day cancelled today, so I'm up with my lunch made and my saw sharp if anyone needs last minute help!
  4. Hi all, I'm based in Glasgow, happy to travel. I am NPTC trained and qualified, and have 4 years self-employed experience cutting trees, in domestic/urban arboriculture setting as well as forestry and peat bog restoration. I have held my climbing tickets (also NPCT) for 2 years. I have all my own PPE, a reliable chainsaw, climbing/rescue kit, chipper ticket, first aid at work, full clean UK driver's license, and my own transport. Open to any offers of work, please get in touch, distance is not a problem provided there's enough work for it to be worthwhile. Cheers! -Dru 07789621187
