  1. What about jeeps, how come no one ever mentions jeeps on here, i would of thought the old box shaped cherokee would of made a good workhorse. Never had one mind, just curious about the lack of jeep enthusiasts.
  2. £80.00 - £100.00 is in the right ball park if you ask me.
  3. I've not seen that before neither.
  4. I'd seriously consider going into production and selling these. They really do look good.
  5. Simon is actually advertising for someone on here at the mo. So he does have work available to the right person (s). Ring him up, be polite, be honest, good luck.
  6. whilst out at flambrough, earlier this year, i saw a few fishermen out round the bay on kayaks, catching nice cod, thats my aim for next year.
  7. Thats Bad !
  8. I think your getting confused with the dog, your only brush a dog from top to bottom, following the flow of its coat.
  9. just look for results for the south yorkshire teams really. not that bothered, its full of divers and prima donnas now.
  10. I asked a similar question ages ago, i got told its best to buy an old full size tractor than a compact. I still have nt bought one due to other needs first, but i want one to cover a chipper, saw, plough and grass cutting, i havent got any storage but will be looking at the older tractors first, even if i end up with a grey fergy at £1000, still good buys.
  11. If your running to a budget and your not towing a chipper, wheat about a cheap van and trailer combo to get started. As previously stated, dont fork out shed load of money on new gear, just take it one step at a time.
  12. i still have about 4 of those. I started with 1 on the allotment when i was about 10 yrs old, cutting firewood.
  13. Can i be a bit picky, you say it is a no jewellery policy, so therefore it must cover the whole school right ? So my question is, does all the staff remove wedding rings etc ? if they dont surely they are in breach of there own rules ? Just a thought. Oh and i say well done to the lad for standing up for his moralls and supporting our brave troops.
  14. Just been renewing my van insurance, i'm with swinton insurance, they never send me a quote in post just a letter saying i have to ring them. I rang up and gave me a price that was over £100 dearer than current. I said no thanks bye, the woman said hold on, came back with a buy it now at £50 dearer than current. I said no thanks bye, the woman said hold on, came back with a price £50 CHEAPER than current, i said Thankyou i'll have that. Just goes to show what they will do to keep your business.
  15. You could use an expanding glue like gorilla glue, use it as normal but it expands slightly, thus filling any small gaps and gluing at the same time. Normal glue will just sink, you will have to layer it.
  16. take em to court. Do everything in the correct manor. Once you have won, then dump the rubbish on their garden. lol.
  17. If you do your artic (c+e) then you can drive and tow any size vehicle and trailer combo, as long as both veh + trl are of the correct legal combination,ie, the correct gvw and gtw (gross train weight). However it does seem a bit extreme and expensive (£3k +) . The B+E (trailer) will allow you to pull a 3.5t gross trailer.
  18. Ha Ha !, i had a blue grifter, best bike ever. Have done both road bike and mountain, do prefer the mountain, but only because thats what i have at the mo. Everyone is aloud on public roads, cars, bikes, cycles, horses etc, but there is always one thing missing that would make life easier for everyone and that is ........... Respect of other road users !
  19. Just got back from holiday in flambrough, there were loads of them up there, our lass (bless her ) got stung whilst on the beach !
  20. Same here Rob, would be very keen to read a step by step guide, bit low on funds at mo, but this is definately something i want to try.
  21. so wheres your pictures ?
  22. Just like other lads have said, have a look at gritting, hard landscaping, renovation work, logging, kindling, Hows your diy skills, could you pick up maitenance contracts in nursing homes etc , keeps you warm in winter.
  23. Would love to help out one harvest, just to get to experience and see how much work goes into harvesting, which people seem to take for granted.
  24. Tractor driving, forwarder, etc if its manual your after, or surveying etc if its academic.
