  1. Roads are up and down all over here. But some long A roads to go on. My tractor does 20mph at 2400-2500 rpm. Was flat as a fart so had it turbo’d and it goes well now. Dyno’d at 110hp at shaft at 1900rpm and 127hp at 2500rpm. Dont want a tractor bigger in size just a bit more umph, comfort, and top end speed on the road. Was just wanting some more luxury and comfort. Only electronic shift type box ive used is the 40 series. At the moment im playing with gearsticks near my bollox!
  2. Wonder if that is due to the 4wd kicking in when braking? Dont half make some noise. Also dog clutch is it banging in and out. I nearly bought a massey 6465 the other month but it took ages to start. Then turn it off and try to start again and took ages.... walked away. Handfull of other issues too
  3. Just wondering what's out there to look at? Would like to upgrade my tractor at some point soon. Was looking at nh8340 and ts115 etc there's a lot of backup around here for those. Also seen some deutz fahr agrotron 150 etc Anyone any recommendations? Also places to look on, seen some right crap on ebay and other sites. Many thanks
  4. I do like the look of the 19-28 machines.... have considered either a road tow or a tracked machine.... look a decent machine. are the blades round ? Can you get square ones also?
  5. I have a stem of cedar at the yard.... i do have one outlet for it but not worth the time to deliver. Its been put with all the other over size..... if i get short of wood or can be arsed i’ll attack it and firewood it..... most likely i’ll not bother and send it all off for biomass
  6. Picked this up the other day just to run the processor. There was some shite about when searching i can tell you!
  7. Good. I like a good project
  8. This thread needs pictures
  9. Anyone had any experiance of pto stump grinders? I think they would be a great thing to have for the larger stumps when access allows.... like multiple 3' -5' stumps on a site Or would it be better to get an old big towed vermeer? Would prefer to utilize the power of the tractor to be fair. Cheers
  10. Think my old one was a 4... used to have one of them armour cases on and was great but got scratched to buggery! Took it out of that and put in a normal case got smashed! got a 6 in a normal case and screen protector. Didnt help when i left it on rear mudguard of tractor and set off down the road new second hand phone surviving well but slow as buggery and battery shameful. Not dead yet though
  11. What did you put down spec wise to reduce in the end? All I can see is its a daft tree to retain in such a small space. Also there are plenty of other tree's in the area by the looks of the print screen and it wouldn't be a huge loss to visual amenity. Long term need multiple reductions, still cause same issues for the customer, possibly get ash die back at some point. I see it as throwing good money at bad and why should the customer have to pay hundreds each time to reduce for something of little benefit to them?.... Imagine if the customers had to endure the councils decision for the next 10 years then be allowed to remove the tree, why not let them have it out now and plant a better suited tree that in those 10 years could have grown to be a decent tree for the environment area and for amenity and worth of a tpo. Sounds like your T.O cant see past the end of his nose
  12. Just wondering what mobiles people are using nowadays? My contract finished a good while ago maybe 12mth and been sim only since.... As per usual the first mobile never lasted the 24 mth contract i was in and it got smashed lol So i bought another iphone off my mate to put me on but this things dieing now also! Looked online and nowadays theyre trying to tie you in to a 3 year contract! New phone will never survive Also one thing my mrs pointed out was new phone was like 39.00pcm.... same mins, texts and data as currently which is only 13.00 pcm. They showed me brake down and phone was 11.00 pcm and they were charging me 28.00 pcm for same mins, text and data i get now... sneaky sods... Anyhow.... Any durable phones out there? Cheers
  13. Like the fendt quote ? i have a kellfri log grab and its ok. Only 950 plus vat also so cheaper than the above and the rytec version
  14. Sound ok till you do the figures and its about 3.5-4 cube a ton then its peanuts and youve to load?
  15. I believe can be easily bent.... people say get hardox tines etc.... If your using it a lot i’d buy something decent but certainly not 5k’s worth!
  16. Christ has no one heard if an axe nowadays?
  17. Families are strange. You know the saying you can pick your friends but not your family!!!! I recently just got married and the crap and hoo harrr that went on through not inviting certain people was pathetic.
  18. Just a thought Bob, why do you not get someone in every now and again to take for biomass for 15£ per ton or so?
  19. You’d have to be bonkers to own a massey ferguson ?
  20. Surely its only the same as having a front loader with the bucket down etc
  21. i've wondered about running a micro digger alongside the stump grinder to clear the hole out of arrisings to keep grinding then to back fill
  22. Glad youve just put that up..... 7.21 online and im sure they just charged me 7.75 each over the phone.
  23. That may be that you bought the tractor at the right money so could easily sell on again. You seem to buy and sell a lot so must come natural to you larger figure purhases. to me if im spending 15-30k i want it right. Appearance means a lot as its also a example of previous owner and how they may have kept and maintained the machine. not many people want high hour tractors within reason. one always has to think about resale value. Its easy for buyers to comprimise when buying something.... damaged panel, little rattle or noise here or there but to then have to re sell the machine if needed would a prospective buyer comprimise and buy the item off me? Also makes harder to sell. any questions i ask myself about the purhase of an item will be the same questions someone would ask if i ever came to sell it on. I recently viewed a tractor that the dealer said was a good tractor. Engine oil below min, same on transmission, auto setting for the power shifts wouldnt work, hub seals leaking, seal to front diff leaking and lots of other costly niggles. Grease round joints rock hard so hasnt seen a. Grease gun for a long while. Also theyd swapped the wheels over which they shouldnt have. All im sayig is things have to be right when purchasing and be fully working that if needed to sell on you could do. Too many pups sold or advertised as good condition
  24. I spotted that... 13k hours when looking the other day. also they seem to have had that red newer t131 valtra for ages months! what price is the 13k hr one?
