  1. Volvo ec15c diggers any good? Cheers
  2. This is true.... i’ve looked at swapping my trailer but then for a trade in value you may aswell keep and just purchase a new one anyway.... its always there. Once paid for its done. Cheap maintenance etc in my case it would be keep the plant trailer and buy a flat bed or tipping trailer
  3. A tipping trailer may be 4k but in 10 years if clean still get 2 k for it lol
  4. Some models could well be worth it in fairness. Once of a day you’d buy a saw with either badge on and you knew what you were getting.... nowadays m tronic and failures and cheap crappy plastic seems all thats produced
  5. In fairness saws are a disposable item nowadays. Only time you strip them down that far is if something major wrong with them. If so most likely just replace it. Work them hard and when they play up just get new. Cannt afford down time or messing about. Change saws every 2 years or so depending when they start playing up. That said its only been the newer saws that this happens with. Have some older stihls that are still spot on! Been looking recently to replace a saw but dont like mtronic etc so either buy second hand and clean or new and m tronic. Both options are not great
  6. Sell it and buy a new one. No down time or fannying about then still to have an old trailer. Depending what trailer you go for, theyre relatively cheap nowadays imo
  7. Some great pics there! Love the mb trac and small tractor and flail, looks a productive setup! That an old mf 390?
  8. You can set it on jensens so it doesnt take in so much and knock the revs down so far.... so takes a bit and kicks in and revs stay up....
  9. Can you alter roller speed and the no stress settinng Mick? Like the style of the rollers on them!
  10. Good stuff Big J, nice to see it in its working clothes
  11. 7700

    Stihl 462

Makes me wonder why they didnt keep an easy access air filter.... bit crap having to unbolt the top and lift off. I prefer the old saws quick un screw or turn clip qnd its off. Might end up with one anyhow as could do with a newer 70cc saw but not keen on mtronic (will have to get over that lol)
  13. Took loader off the 399 today to do some works to it. Bit of a mission as hasn’t been off in years. Feels a lot more nimble now and loads better view
  14. Its loads easier to get finance than a bank loan imo..... usually finance companies will just throw it at you if you want it..... banks are crap nowadays

Too much oil is just as bad.... doesnt help the initial runing in and rings bedding in..... I’ve always used them as norm from first tank.... no babysitting. No drama’s here
  17. I take it we are still talking 2.5m lenghs here? Lot less value for arb wood?
  18. Nothing wrong with an 80cc on a 25" even a 75cc will pull it. An 85cc will piss a 30" bar Don't know owt about 500i Plenty of people have run a 25" bar on an 044 and it pulls it fine...
  19. Whats wrong with that
  20. Usually 10-12 or sometimes 12-14 here
  21. Not painting the best picture here was looking at the husky top handle, back handle and 3 batta and a charger.... 1100 odd plus vat though! Just attracted to the quiet works and less shouting over noise and less vibe

  24. Yes. Ours froze up in december.... one lof the lads tried to work it free but it must have been frozen all down the black sheath. All it did was work the cable inside the handle and frey and bugger it. It went ping last week so had to get a new handle and cable 70.00 inc vat or there abouts.... there is a littlw red bung you can remove on the handle. Been meaning to remove this on mine and put some thin oil or wd40 down there keep the water out
