Too much oil is just as bad.... doesnt help the initial runing in and rings bedding in..... I’ve always used them as norm from first tank.... no babysitting. No drama’s here

  3. Nothing wrong with an 80cc on a 25" even a 75cc will pull it. An 85cc will piss a 30" bar Don't know owt about 500i Plenty of people have run a 25" bar on an 044 and it pulls it fine...
  4. Whats wrong with that
  5. Usually 10-12 or sometimes 12-14 here
  6. Not painting the best picture here was looking at the husky top handle, back handle and 3 batta and a charger.... 1100 odd plus vat though! Just attracted to the quiet works and less shouting over noise and less vibe

  9. Yes. Ours froze up in december.... one lof the lads tried to work it free but it must have been frozen all down the black sheath. All it did was work the cable inside the handle and frey and bugger it. It went ping last week so had to get a new handle and cable 70.00 inc vat or there abouts.... there is a littlw red bung you can remove on the handle. Been meaning to remove this on mine and put some thin oil or wd40 down there keep the water out
  10. Could well have done.... I can tell when things aren't just right. Good to ask questions and research things before hand
  11. BT have said that the pole is their property and part of their infrastructure and would need a engineer to come out to say if it is now not needed and that it is only openreach that can remove the pole....
  12. Yes I thought this.... good couple of 8’ poles out of it. cheers
  13. Hi there, Anyone know anything about removing telegraph poles from domestic gardens? Looked at a job where the telephone line has been moved to help with an extension that is being built. The line now goes to the house from a different pole. The people now have this pole in their garden and want it removing so building extension works can continue...... Heard bt want a hefty price for the removal of the pole £2000.00 .... why is this? just cost of them getting in the correct people? or are there other factors behind the scenes that need dealing with also? do they still own the pole and it should be maintained in place? the people have paid for the line to be re routed.... so the pole is now not needed for any reason. Cheers
  14. On my tractor i use with loader and grab/ bucket on and then another 200kg of weight on the front for most things. Feels fine with a 1200kg mulcher on the back
  15. Give them a ring and see if they can do a better price..... Renewal came through on mine and it had gone up 180.00 ish..... rang them up and they discounted 170.00 ish straight away! They must hope people just renew
  16. Bugger not sure never thought to check.... all stihl parts
  17. The oiler pinion is where it needs to be and the sprocket is meshed in the recesses as should be
  18. That sucks.... no warrenty wear item i guess they said?
  19. Not had this. Must be tight onto the clutch? Gap all round the clutch to the inside of the drum..... must be the boss that goes over he crank too long maybe and getting tightened downwith the clutch?
  20. Anyone ever had any problems with dodgy NEW sprockets? Been and picked some repair parts up this aft after work.... one job was to change the sprocket on 201t. Fit new sprocket and its constantly running the chain..... put brake on and it stalls engine.... clutch is fine and springs ok. You can feel it trying to turn engine over as you turn chain.... thought i’d over tightened it. Backed it off and nipped it up still the same. Removed and cleaned roller bearing again and put back together and its still the same. put old sprocket and back in business! Possible dodgy sprocket not machined properly? Going to take it back and swap it and get another for another saw... hope its not a bad batch!
  21. Has anyone found a cheaper solution to replacing the throttle cable on a timberwolf tw230? Cable has snapped and spectrum only sell the full assembly for 70.00 inc vat! all for a snapped cable.... any old school folk out there with wire and soilder nipples ?
  22. I said it first anyhow.... must be a time delay over in france haha ?
  23. Ahh yes it is a nice tree! How about dismantle the wall around the tree stem? then mock up something for security with the wall?
  24. Wall looks single or double? Pillars look quite close maybe single layer? Wall is moved and tree retained for a further 5-10 years? What is the tree going to be like then after a reduction to look after that union.... how good would a new established tree look in 5-10 years
  25. I would still go for removal. This is direct to road no pavement wiggle room. Roots and solid structures is a no no to me. cost of rebuilding wall would way outweigh the removal of the tree. if common sense provail then in my eyes a fresh tree in a better suited spot is the best outcome here. Got to look further down the line, keeping a tree with issues next to a solid structure vs a nice tree with a lot longer life span for the amenity of the surrounding area.
