  1. It wouldn't run long enough to get warmed up only 5 seconds or so.... also lifted that limiter cap off to adjust the h but no help for the revs at this point Also though it may have been a small seize or starting to seize slightly but a problem elsewhere, thats why it maintained the 150psi compression
  2. Recently got another 200t spares repairs. Anyhow it would fire but not rev or idle etc. I checked comp it was 150psi, Spark plug was wrong one and loose, so replaced that. It has a carb with the adjustment restrictor cap on the H setting screw. Tried a different carb but still the same, took it to bits to see some scoring on the exhaust side of the piston, there is a little score to the cylinder and the piston didn't seem to bad but my question is, surely it should have run better or done something with 150psi compression? Or even though piston scored slightly, 150psi means its still ok and something else is up? Needless to say i'll be getting a fresh piston sorted, mostlikely a meteor one. Has anyone prices an original one up if so what was the price? Cheers Ears
  3. Good luck and a cracking outfit there Is there someone with a similar name near ripon?

  5. Kretz or cramp balls? not sure if latter found on white beam though Where's the pictures and whats the tree like etc?
  6. Went on tractor specs to try find some info on it but can't find them
  7. Yeah i noticed this on my 024.... it was playing up and i set the h + l back to standard 1 turn out..... but it was a right pain, its somewhere set between 3/4 and 1 turn out on the l screw. It wouldn't idle too good any richer. Finally got a fuel tank vent for my other 024 today when passing dick leighs so that should be working well now after a quick run and check I really rate the little 024's esp for little domestic jobs etc
  8. Yes, need right terminology here I agree with the above!
  9. I find even on the small domestic jobs, people are still getting multiple quotes... even when your a reasonable rate!
  10. Still no refund... poor show!
  11. owners manual says 20s 30w i think or UTO for both engine and transmission (older tractor)
  12. Hi there, just a query. I've noticed some tractors take the same oil in the engine as in the transmission! Is this ok for when running log splitters etc? Also you can just use universal tractor oil in either... What do you use? Cheers
  13. Yup, nothing else this year Another note, has anyone been re funded yet?
  14. It'll be fine then shame she didn't just use loppers or a saw etc to make life easier for her

  17. And sometimes, depending where you are, you can sell some if you can, but if not you can give it away to clear it. works on some species better than others, give away pop etc lol
  18. I don't know much about value of firewood roadside etc, but it may not be worth as much due to being freshly felled and green so weighing a lot more thus less per tonne, also people may not want a tonne of fire wood in an 8ft butt

  22. A "mill" front loader, what are they like? they seem old fasioned etc, and how do you adjust the bucket or release it to tip? is it a lever Cheers Ears
  23. Supprised no one has commented on this... where's hamma? I thought that some tree's could get over this? affecting youngest trees worse/killing faster. Wouldn't it be worth a shot heavy reduction? esp if the customer wants to retain.
  24. not really a pay as you climb.... when you ring up you can specify, how much percentage landscaping, how much tree work on the ground, how much tree work climbing, also how much turn over...... So you may only earn 4k a year off it so it may lower premiums but not sure. 341 is a good price, thats what mine was last year, dropped a bit this year.
  25. Happy birthday old boy lol, a year closer to retiring
