  5. I certainly can't afford it, can see the benefits and can see where it would have its uses but it seems rediculously expensive. And in a time when price is everything to me and the customer, its a no go'er for me.... may try it one day though as said for confined spaces etc
  6. Just curious to see if anyone is off to the arb fest in leeds in july?
  7. I subbie climb and ground etc, but its quiet this week. When companies you work for are quiet you have to try find work elsewhere to keep going. I was going to post a thread about work but as you say there's a lot. But if you don't try you don't get. Also you can tell who are newbies or who have been about for a bit.

  11. Just get the 660 and be done with it if you can afford. its about capacity and capability.... They're not that heavy, you'll get used to it and find it a breeze after you've had a go with an 880 for a bit I prefer to get the 660 out
  12. THIS SUBJECT WAS ON TV THIS MORNING TALKING ABOUT YOUR LASS AND THE EXACT SAME PICS!!!! WELL DONE
  13. I must admit i do like colours like that although they do have different applications, as has been said plant machinery, stump grinders/chippers etc. Stands out from the crowd, yes and could possibly lessen the chance of theft
  14. i love my 064 it'd be a shame to replace it when the time comes but it'll be a 660
  15. One i use for a company is very hard to engage the chain brake, and when its on it sits very close to the exhaust.... this may be due to lack of maintenance though...
  16. My girlfriend is brilliant at music, has grade 7 in flute, has grades in a few other instruments. Is sorting some stuff out towards her masters. And is in her last placement in becoming a music teacher! Really proud of her ! Keep up the music and playing! its excellent to be able to play an instrument!
  17. They're good till they get nicked Puts me off getting one when my friend got his pinched. That said.... they are very good Sorry to be of no help
  18. Why do people always want stuff done on the cheap? but when you deal with them they want top wack? Why do ignorant people always slag off softwood? Why do gardeners take on treework then call you in, and think the tree surgeon is on a good do for the day? not realising how much equiptment/experiance/work and insurance goes into the job.... Someone i rent land off wants a tree removing and logging up.... he's going to come with me as "i want all the logs cutting at 90 degree's" so they can be split and not slide away. Offer a splitting service but wants doing for a months rent...... this is a 350-400 quid job though .... Why do people not like others making money? Profits not a dirty word is it! an why just earn a wage When/what time do you just say NO! im no pushover Or do you keep the peace... i'd rather say NO Sorry for the rant, any advice for the above? it may also help others in same/simialr predicament.
