  1. Think armchair arborist on here uses one also with a 30" bar on his Can't believe how much theyre going for on ebay! 300-400 quid! I must have got really lucky with mine Its cut down plenty of tree's and done a heck of a lot of ringing up!
  2. One hell of a saw imo! It always puts a smile on my face when i use mine! I use a 25" bar on it. I bought it spares or repairs for 150.00 Got it home and got it running! Put a new exhaust on it and its an absolute belter! I had to replace the front wrap handle as i broke it! but theyre really good saws, Someone told me lighter than the 066 and just a bit heavier than the 046 (not sure if its true) I love the saw and if it did ever pop its clogs i'd maybe rebuild with genuine parts oppose to aftermarket stuff!
  3. How much did you give for it if you don't mind me asking? Was it up near carlisle? Or some where lol I saw someone selling some saws on ebay and contacted them, but cannot just remember where he was. He had a 372xp and 346's etc for sale

  8. How much was the 201t if you don't mind me asking? I looked at spider jacks they were about 175inc vat. I asked one company about there,s which was 175 to see if it was inc vat. They said is it cash? I replied, no its card (debit card btw) they said well no, it's plus vat then! Don,t think I,ll ever bother with them again! Some people didn't seem bothered like you say, take it or leave it...
  9. Wasn't much discount really, a bit on a few things here and there, didn't take much notice of the saws though i'm afraid! Honey brothers seem'd to be the best on prices
  10. BTW The traffic yesterday on the way home from the airb fair was rubbish wasn't it! was just at the side of you in your 4x4 What the other contractor did was ott and has ruined the tree, it'll be on the fell list now?
  11. BOOOOOOOORRRRRIIIINNNNNGGGG Oh well lol like you say, least its down in a safe position and no damage, you'll be ready for the next one then just shows there must have been plenty of tension and compression on it unless it just fell over with the root plate still attatched?
  12. Will it be aimed at all levels of experiance? hope it doesn't all go over my head. Will it be identification, talking about what it does to the tree What kind of rots, dieback in crown? roots etc , risks and management stratagies etc?
  13. But Does it have a Tpo or in a Conservation area? You still haven't said

  15. Older engines seem to be better than the new ones.... As said the 2.0 hdi is a good lump, I have an older berlingo with the 1.9d engine in, and some prefer them! We have a 307 1.6 hdi, seems flat for a car on pick up, apparently returns 52mpg according to the trip meter, a friend has a peugeot expert van 1.6hdi and says the fuel consumption isn't good.... Please look up particulate filter on google before you buy one (just incase it has one)
  16. Whats the weather seem like down there tomorrow? Keep seeing conflicting weather forecasts lol Or maybe saturday is looking to be the better day? What you thinking?
  17. Dog tooth is probabilly the way to go, also when i do my back cut/ release cut i do a level cut an inch or so under neath, rather than the cutting from above, down at an angle If you get me lol
