  1. Thought there was a cap at 8200kg gtw with c+e or something about the weights makes me think.... you need catagory c to drive it for starters and an operators license, also a tacho if working over X amount of miles from base, and regular vehicle checkups.
  2. Hi there, Can anyone tell me what make or tractor these wheels came off? the rear wheels and they are 28" dia and wide beggars! 14 or 16" wide! Cheers Chris
  3. well worth changing
  4. which way is the arrow supposed to point to on the piston?
  5. Shouldn't have got it hung up in the first place.... do you always stand with your hands on your hips? assuming your the guy with the blue t shirt on lol

  7. Thats exactly how i like things to go!
  8. Do you not get isues with mold this way? do you stack or just throw in a pile?
  9. My 200t has been playing up lately! I've a few but have taken to using my older 2005 one and its a belting saw. Only problems are that lately, after turning off in the tree, i would start up it would rev bur die.... then i have to choke it and then fast idle or idle and i'm away. Few years back i chucked the 200t carb out of it and fitted a 020t carb to it as it wouldn't idle with the 200t carb... dodgy carb year... It earns me lots of money so wondering whats up with it!! Any help?
  10. Builders bags of mixed hard and soft are less than that around here!
  11. Back boiler type system? I think these are a great idea!!
  12. Its a pain in the arse really..... i often think it would be better giving wood away and doing away with a yard, as it costs to store, process, bag etc and or deliver..... Prices are crap.... few people selling 2.2mtr cube for 100 quid... there's no competing with that! I don't do big scale, only what i bring in each year, thats all i'm interested in.... Pee'd off with weather and my firewood store and times handling logs... time for a brew
  13. No cs 40 or 41? And where are you...

  20. top left elder bottom left ash bottom right spruce
  21. Think i've just looked at it? How much are they new?
  22. The 400.00 one is sounding appealing lol New ones are 1200 quid ish inc vat The 400.00 one must have been a belt driven one, then bottom pulley added and then pto shaft adapted, and 3pl pegs welded onto the frame. When on the tractor, the blade runs accross the back of the tractor so to speak, not inline with the tractor if you get me? STAY AWAY?? Wish there were some new ones for arond 650-750.00 if so i'd get one!
  23. Is there anywhere in the northwest so go look at some? Would like to know what makes etc there are out there to look at as i haven't a clue! Cheers
  24. Hi there, I'm looking to purchase a saw bench in the near future. Seen the older ones with the big blades and no guards There seems to be nothing on the bay to look at at the moment. Been offered an old pto saw bench for 400 quid! no guards etc think its steep in price! I like the look of the sliding table models, seen an oxdale video and was impressed (just the design of the table moving log towards the blade with plenty of guards and safety )! machine 950 pounds. Anyway, restricted budget as always. Just want to get something sorted to deal with my arb pile, and saves me using the chainsaw. Buy second hand or new? finance? What do people suggest? Many thanks Chris To be used along side of a 10 tonne splitter
