  1. You could try a rattle gun on it but remove starter cover 1st as some mechanisms can be damaged. Piston stop but be very careful not to damage piston especially if you use the screw in type, or you can put starter cord in through plug hole to do the same, but make sure exhaust port is closed as you don't want to jam any in there.
  2. Could be legit, but vans and surroundings look didycoyish, looks like another timberwolf in one of the pics on gumtree. Proceed carefully. Mind you tidier than my yard at the moment.
  3. Postage might be a problem, Kim is in AUS. or take a whilst.

    Snap cut...

Can't do it every day of the wee, like I used to. You just think more about working the tree, rather than rushing around like a loon. work smarter not harder. Use SRT at least for access, depends on tree if work it SRT or MRT. Foot and knee ascender help. Your just a wisp f a man, I'm 6ft 4" and 13 1/2 stone.

Sounds like another candidate for the over 50's club
  8. Between Cairnie and Ruthven. Your just the other side of the Balloch IIRC. Nice to be home after spending the day up to thigh deep in burn, wrestling root plate of 2-3t out.
  9. We have just exceeded our 5 cube for the quarter with one ash tree from the recent storm. Off to Cullen the morn to fish a bridge out of the water with a land slipped oak sitting on top of it.
  10. Remember your garden is VERY big, gardens don't need felling licences, only your policies......
  11. kipper plant hire Kinross, Everyone with one up here will be busy.
  12. Just buy more saws, problem solved......😀
  13. As Dave says, sleety and windy here more later. Unloading in field from yesterday, had to winch trailer out as up to its axles. The joys.
  14. Regularly use deep gobs when sectioning down stems as much easier to knock lengths off as gravity helping you, you need to be more accurate with the cuts as less margin for error. Also use it for felling stripped poles for the same reasons of using centre of gravity to your advantage rather than braying away at wedges.
  15. Also wonder how much would end up in that trailer, far too far away.

No lanyard clip but tywraped on carabiner sorts that
  18. An Inch at the base is worth a foot at the top of the tree, so low stumps please.

Handy little tool. Girl we work with has one used it at chipper to nick branches before putting through chipper. Now she has C. saw ticket so not used it much. Have used it up the tree for light pruning. Chain guard can be a PITA to get tight spaces.
  20. According to spectrum you need to fit a 6mm spacer when changing from old motor to new. they have spacer in stock but not motor, c'est la vie
  21. That's the old squarer motor IIRC, yours has a newer style one on the top.
