    As Dave says, sleety and windy here more later. Unloading in field from yesterday, had to winch trailer out as up to its axles. The joys.

    Regularly use deep gobs when sectioning down stems as much easier to knock lengths off as gravity helping you, you need to be more accurate with the cuts as less margin for error. Also use it for felling stripped poles for the same reasons of using centre of gravity to your advantage rather than braying away at wedges.

    An Inch at the base is worth a foot at the top of the tree, so low stumps please.

    According to spectrum you need to fit a 6mm spacer when changing from old motor to new. they have spacer in stock but not motor, c'est la vie

    That's the old squarer motor IIRC, yours has a newer style one on the top.

    Stick the trailer handbrake on then..... Or when it all starts to slide down the road track back off till tracks add braking.

    Also shock loading , Al ones can break, steel tend to distort which is noticeable before using again.
